Where in the bible does God say "wait to get married"??? This is something we have made up in black churches that is not something God has ever said. Paul encouraged it but he isn't God. God said be fruitful and multiply. Which means get married. I don't understand the marriage stalling preaching in the church. Its not Godly

The trust part is a bit off as it is only speaking in the Old Testament examples. The New Testament has a new law. Thats why the woman who the Pharisees pulled out of the adultery (and didn't pull the man out too 🤔🤔😑) Jesus forgave her and restored her IN FRONT OF EVERYONE who tried to condemn her. It was really offensive to women who have children outside of marriage especially when not even mentioning that it takes the mans seed to create the child. There is a massive condemning attitude towards women and literally zero accountability or condemning of men when it comes to this subject. Otherwise the cross is useless if when we make one mistake, we are done. No, sin is not excusable but the condemnation from the men on panel was a bit prideful as it was very one sided. (Btw, Jesus was conceived out of wedlock to two teenagers........🤷🏿‍♀️🤫🤫)

I get what the man in green is saying…..but he is judging based on appearance and it’s not based on facts but he is entitled to his preference and i understand how it is perceived to the world. But I’m a virgin and have tattoos…big ones and all of them are about God. And I guess in my own way I express my affection through my tattoos. I’ve always loved tattoos and always fought against it because I thought it was wrong but I believe I got an approval from God and never felt convicted. I believe his point of view is valid depending on the “why” for getting tattoos for the woman.

When thinking of marriage as a woman. 1. First you must be shaped by God. Your first relationship is with your creator. Eve knew God before she knew her husband. It’s after God shaped and molded her that she was led to Adam. 2. Let God lead you to your husband. Don’t search. It was God who took Eve by the hand and brought her to Adam after he prepared her for him. She didn’t make it happen herself. 3. Ask yourself these questions: Am I a helpmate? Do I possess the qualities of a helpmate? God created woman to be a helpmate to man. Not to be his boss or his mother. To stand beside him as a helper to help him meet the destiny God has planned for him. 4. Know your assignment. God gave Eve a specific role as a woman. She was to be the bearer of life to her family. I don’t think this only means bearing children. Aside from that, the woman is a bearer of life to her husband. She is to help him bring life to the assignment God has entrusted him with. She is to also suppose to bring life to her children’s future as disciples of Christ. 5. You must know how to be a best friend to your husband. Ask your self : Am I a good friend? Am I wise in giving advice? Am I a good listener? Am I nonjudgmental? Am I patient? Do I know how to be silent when I need to be? Am I forgiving? Am I faithful? Any characteristic a good friend should have, you need as a wife for your husband. This list is not complete but it’s a good place to start if you are a woman who wants to be married to a Godly man.

The guideline for dating is God’s word. Anything that would cause you or your brother or sister to struggle/ stumble in the walk with the Lord is unacceptable. The Bible says to “flee” from sexual immorality. That’s the one sin you don’t play with. Any sexual act: kissing, touching in a sensual manner, sexting, watching sexual content, sex of any form, even imagining these acts in your heart is in violation and counts as sexually immoral before God. What is the norm in the world is in direct contradiction to God’s standards and expectations. Do the exact opposite of the world is doing. Your behavior should be based on God’s, not on your flesh and what you want. Your flesh is your worst enemy. The devil is the second. If you are truly walking the Lord, you will know his will and because you live him, you will walk in obedience. Also, God never asks us to do something that he has not equipped us to do. So yes, it is possible to date the Godly way of both people make God their priority.

I think it’s more important to be with the person God has in store for you, versus being married by a certain age. I’ve finally met the person God intended for me to marry, at 39 years old. He is 42, and married younger because he feared waiting too long and wanted to do things the Christian way. But, that ended in divorce. I believe that marriage is a ministry, and God’s timing is always perfect.
