Jenna, you are certainly correct; the word "Lent" is not in the Bible. That said, the Bible has numerous examples of how God's children intentionally set aside seasons in their lives for repentance. I hope you'll find this Lenten season very meaningful, and thank you for viewing our daily devotionals.
