Man, I'm so bummed this game is over. I had a blast playing co-op missions with randoms. We were laughing and strategizing all night long. It's a shame it had to end. Hopefully there's a sequel or something! Please 🙏🏽

27/12/2024, still playing, almost getting the platinum trophy, i like building the heroes, it's satisfactory how thor can wipe out all the map with the thunder, and iron man blowing everything up with hulkbuster. Story mode is trash, but the rest of the is kinda cool, too bad they didn't continue the game.

Got back into it recently. Still fun to go ham with hulk but repetative and can't do omega missions cuz noone plays

Tbh I bought the game upon its release and besides Spider-Man mechanics I looooved the game and the plot to the game it’s a shame the developers canceled the ongoing plot to the game it would’ve been epic

I can understand people being upset at the cash shop and the state of the game at release..... But the game got a lot of patches and content before they closed the doors. They even gave players who own the game or any future players who buy the game All the items from the shop for FREE. It's one of a handful of games I have a Platinum Trophy for. For the low price it's at the days ($25) it's a solid purchase. Especially for any comic book readers.

I feel like its not too bad if you increase the difficulty to maximum makes fighting enemies a lot more fun, id suggest hard or brutal mode as standard

From the approximately thirty minutes of gameplay I can say that the game had potential but was severely bogged down by the liver service element of it. The game would’ve been fine just being the main story maybe tweaking the gameplay and story.

Honestly i really liked thus game. I didn't live the character designe but the rest if it was pretty good. I definitely think the live service elements hurt it, but i really do think the bad press is what really did it. I remember there being a lot of people who wanted the game to fail even vefore it was released and unfortunately they swayed a lot of people opinions in the game. It didnt help that the fallowing uodates werent as good as they could have been but u think it partially is because square saw the negative reception and put less funding into the rest if the game. There were a lot of behind the scenes issues and delays

This game was fun. Mouth breathers let the hype clowns ruin it for everyone. Even talking about the prologue u see they have to try extra hard to make it sound bad when it was actually pretty good. The game wasn’t perfect no game is. They needed more stag3s and more enemies aside from that every character was fun and unique. Combos n finishers were good, plenty of skins. The bandwagon killed this game, RUclipsrs we’re trashing the game before it even came out

Yea the devs definitely dropped the ball on this game. I was a huge fan of the game. Tbh, I'm actually 1 of the few who is completely maxed out wit God tier modules. The was fun especially wit other players. But the downside was their servers. Consoles had it bad.

Luckily we have marvel rivals. Not exactly the same thing. And the combat isn’t as in depth but I think it’s why mostly everyone wanted.

This game was actually a guilty pleasure. If they added more characters it woulda been more fun.

I always liked this game and was pretty sad to see it die. But with the decisions that were made… It makes sense. The game needed more variety in enemies, better music, better post game content, quicker development, and better choice of Avengers like Ant Man or Dr. Strange instead of Kate Bishop and Jane Foster

Avengers was the first live service game i played the charachters had parts you could change to make their power level better. I didnt know you had to do that so all the good parts went into a big inventory section and i played on PS4 so when i open the inventory my game freezes for 2 minuites and when i select something in the inventory my game crashes. also i defended this game for a while but when spider man came out i gave up on it.

The game overall is fun, the main problem is character balancing and the gacha

The game is still fun and good to me. Feels like I'm playing an Avengers comic and movie. There's a lot of great detail in this game. The only issues i have are that theres too simular missions and the levels arent detailed enough for me. Even if the missions (none story mode) are harder with more baddies and bosses, it feels like we did this already. I loved the story modes and even the mini story modes. The combat plays and looks great. Each avenger fights different. Oh, and the voice acting great. It's over-hated, imo Folks missed out.

Half the story mode was trash. The other half was kind of good. I didn't like how to did all these changes to the game when it first came out. Had to spend $90 for movie outfits and they only give me 5 of them still. Wish I hadn't spent that kind of money on outfits that I could have gotten for free.
