I actually met a game developer back in 2011 at a local youth center who said he worked on the Sly Cooper games and I remember asking him was there ever going to be a show based on the characters because I too was into the art style. Needless to say, he wasn't too sure on that but showed me some assets he worked on himself like this boss level where Sly battles a Cuban tiger character. I really wish the Sly Cooper film didn't get canceled.

The first game was so good it led the way for its later sequels to the next level. Maybe except 4. 😂

Zag almost kind of looks like Penelope in sly 3. Hear me out, originally Penelope in sly 3 was a cubby big headed mouse but they redesigned her, what if the redesigned version was based off of the cut zag from sly 1. Not to mention being a second technological specialist gives her and Bentley a two of a kind vibe that zig and zag would have had.

I still have that Jampack disk. I'm gonna gonna have to check out that demo out again

Seriously, I wish I had known about these games earlier in my life, it made me like anthropomorphic animals even more than ever hahahahahaha. I've already thought of some stories with anthropomorphic animals and if I were to base myself on an art style I would like it to be like Sly Cooper's.

Great video man, big fan of Sly Cooper since I was a kid. I bought the Sly Collection on ps3 recently but I haven't played it in a minute. The artwook comic book artstyle always pops out to me.

I understand the points you're making, but I cannot agree with the majority of them. I respect that you don't like the game, but you cannot objectively not recommend to play Rayman Origins. It is a very strong addition to the main Rayman franchise, the art style, level designs, and musics are on point, the difficulty is perfect if you're a casual player or if you wanna try a bit harder to unlock everything, and it's just fun to play overall.

You said you are old enough to remeber game manuals and was suprised that story is only in it? So I got to tell you that it is not so rare :) Play Diablo I and then read the manual. It totally change the experience :D

I can’t agree with this video…it’s just a bunch nymphs…it’s not like it’s the main focus of the game. I personally don’t mind their re-design. Legends and Origins are literally the same game…

bro you need to play the stanley parable, just play it i dont want to spoil anything, you look like a guy that needs to play it with all that story complaining

The biggest problem with ShTH is that it's a terrible and lazy follow up to both SA2 and Heroes. It's like they wanted Heroes' straight to the point arcade-y structure with minimal story and straight to the game, but with a "big stakes and deep" story like SA2. Except they failed at both, because the game has all of Heroes' weakness and none of its strengths : too long, too tedious, too slippery, too linear. Weapons are just kinda there but they work ig. The mission system like Team Chaotix in Heroes is PAIN and a terrible way to pad the game out with multiple branches, that aren't even good to begin with. The story feels like an over the top South Park parody, except played straight, what with the "swearing" and utterly laughable attempts at being serious, like the GUN Commander hating on Shadow for no reason, the Dark Story cutscenes being utterly stupid and OOC in such an unbelievable way. What they should have done is a scaled down but improved Heroes, with SA2 gameplay for Shadow, Rouge and Omega, and every loose end about the Ark, Gerald, Maria, the Shadow Androids and Black Doom deserved a decent writer like Shiro Maekawa. Shadow's game was written by Takashi Iizuka himself, and it painfully shows.

here the deal tho, they already fucked it up when they ported it to the play3. so many bugs and things that went wrong . nah.. i like my games complete, pirated it and emulated

I'm sorry, but this has to be one of the most disingenuous reviews I've ever seen. You're just saying all this stuff in such a voice that it exposes how little you actually seem to care about the game itself. Yeah, not everyone has to be super energetic per say, but you could at least put some more effort into talking about the game, because I've seen a review of this game that actually makes me want to actually buy it and not just remember it.

The change in graphics just looks like a lighting change. They made the game darker
