I started listening to death cab first with Codes and Keys, then with Plans and they didn't catch my attention, a friend told me to start with Something About Airplanes at the beginning, I listened to it and I loved it, now I've recently listened to this album and it's incredible, a lot of people can attribute liking these albums instead of the recent ones to nostalgia, but I think it's actually because these initial dcfc albums are genuinely great

It’s gone

I've discovered this group because they were doing the 1st part of a Blink-182 show back in 2003 I think. I had a poster and thought it could be a great group if blink was pushing them. This album is in my top 5 album ever.

This album is the soundtrack to my second year of university. 2006 or so. Cold winters studying and writing papers. Nostalgia is one helluva drug.

This may be their best album.

1st heard this in high school and nvr anticipated that it'd remain such an important album to me. and although my music taste has evolved sooo much since then, I still find myself coming back to this album year after year.. especially in the winter time. It's so fitting w/ cold temperatures, and it brings me right back to winter 2012, when I was a sophomore in HS and I first heard this. Im glad others in the comments share the same love for this album that I do!
