Thank you
cool tour
Do you use D2 to clean with?
I do
What do you use? There are cemeteries that don't allow cleaning
I use D2 Biological. I have permission from this cemetery to do work here.
That cleaned up nice. Good job
Great job
Beautiful ...,
Rest in peace ❤❤❤❤❤❤
71 that’s a long life for that time
Thank you!
Love personal history❤
Life is so short.
Beautiful
I’m going to have to go check to make sure but I think these people are on my family tree. Not in my direct line but through the Boyds.
Very good that u did this.
Very good of u.
Thank you for honoring our dead...
Mate you are a legend god bless you😊
Wow, great job. 👌 May I ask why? Is she a relative, or are you just being a good Samaritan?
I’m not related at all. I find stones at local cemeteries that need some attention and then contact the various cemeteries about volunteering my time and services to give these old stones some love.
@AricMorgan Well, that is such a nice thing to do! Thank you!
YOU ARE SO SWEET TO CLEAN HER MARKER!!!❤❤❤❤ THANK YOU!!
I really appreciate the care and respect you show for all the people connected to these headstones.
What do you use to clean the stones? The only thing I was recommended was very expensive.
I use D2 biological and Orvus paste.
Nice work👍🏻
I grew up in the Smokey Mountains. It's so beautiful.
You worked so hard on this! It's very kind of you to clean them..❤
If you are watching this expecting this stone to come out as clean as the day it was placed into the ground, over 200 years ago, you are watching the wrong video. Rarely and I mean rarely do stones come clean after the initial cleaning. D2 biological works to help clean over the course of 3 months. The methods I use are the only methods used and recommended by both the National Park Service and the National Cemetery Administration.
i’d rather that than hurt the stone
Thankyou for what you do.❤
What is that cleaner you are using ??????
D2 Biological
@@AricMorgan Thank you.
Wish i could have seen the end result....
Ill have a full time lapse video with the end result soon.
Bet you got a LOT OF GHOST 👻 IN YOUR HOUSE, HUH? 😮
Luckily nothing has followed me home...yet.
No. He's got Good karma.! He's taking care of business.
What cleaner do you use? Would like to start doing this locally to give back tot he community
I use D2 Biological and Orvus paste.
213 years huh? Man has long been forgotten. It will eventually become the fate of everyone. Kind of comforting to be honest
She was only 2.. Feel bad for her. 😥
I was just taken to my great aunts grave as she died recently, and found her grandfather half way further down the row 🥳. The exciting thing about this was that he and his wife first traveled from Bohemia back in the 1800’s to NZ. I found his wife a few years back hundreds of klms away as she remarried after he passed away, but I didn’t know where he was. It was a fabulous moment 🫠🥳❤️
Poor girl. God bless you for keeping her memory alive.
There is something so sacred about honoring a life gone by... 😢
My great great grandfather fought in the civil war. Some how his 1863 Springfield rifle stayed in the family. After my grandfathers death in 1997 my oldest cousin recieved the rifle. You're doing great work sir. Thank you.
What are you using to clean the head stone?
D2 Biological and Orvus paste.
3 :(
it just 'wont get better or paler... 🙂 Very nice anyway.
This is a darker natural stone, it wont get white like other stone materials like marble or granite. It will get lighter once the stone dries and over the course of several months as the D2 works its way into the pores of the stone.
@@AricMorgan I am sure. 🙂 And I really hope you know that I didn't want to say your work down, it was only a lil joke on my side. Actually I really appreciate that when somebody does something like you do with your research and the caretaking. So keep up, and thx for the explanation. 🙂
Wouldn't be proper to color it white!? Paint?
There is no paint. The white in the video is soap from the Orvus paste I use to help clean.
Depending on how it was going for her parents they may have moved away.
Very common back then for people to be on the move.
This is so kind
In 7 years, it will be 200 years since her passing. I hope she is watching from Heaven knowing someone on earth is still honoring her. RIP Mary Kuns. ❤
Thank you for caring.
Has a grave marker ever broken apart when you were trying to clean it?
I've not had that happen, if I have a stone marked for cleaning and it is already cracked or damaged. I will still clean, but with no scrubbing or scraping as to not damage it further. I just soak the stone with D2 Biological and that still works wonders over the course of several months before needing to reapply.
My husband’s ancestors
Thank you for that act of kindness. ❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
Respect.
