Hi, I am Manoj, This is my first video on Azure. Azure Load Balancer distributes the incoming traffic requests to backend Servers . In this demo , I have explained how we can implement Azure Public Load Balancer with blackened servers- windows and ubuntu OS as a Web servers to handle the requests coming from Load Balancer.
thanks Boss!
This is one of the most precise and straight to the point video i have come across based on this topic.
Awesome video.
Nicely explained..
Lovely
My advice dont do it !!!!!! If ad is to complicate for you leave it and look for another job
Hi, I want to discuss with you, i have some doubts. Can you Please support to me.
Thanks for the detailed video brother. What if on-prem SQL server database size is too big like 1TB and we need to migrate to Azure SQL db same way what you demonstrated here using DMA. How much time it should take, in our environment it is taking huge time more than 24 hours and finally failed. I am not sure if we need some special network connectivity here like. Any thoughts guys, really appreciate any response.
Sorry, but this is not a migration from an on-premise AD as advertised.
itni ghatiya music daalke video ka maza kharrab kar diya, content is good.
Hi Manoj.. My Primary domain on AD Sync is failing on authentication. Is there a way to reach you for some clarification.
This is not a migration! Migration means to decom the On-Prem AD servers and only utilize EntraID.
brother why we need to use 3rd party nameservers like freenom can you please clarify
This doesn't really explain anything. This sets up Azure AD connect. How are you joining the PCs to Azure AD and disconnecting them from the domain? This doesn't accomplish that. This is only halfway complete.
not really a migration its hybrid setup. I was expecting a existing AD migrated to Azure cloud only. no-prem AD.
If any link please post here
hey bro you have a good content just u have to turn off the music
the script to create database if you still have it
Create database testdb;
Hello sir, I'd like to ask what we have to do for child domain or additional dc, On our side that we have hosted on aws ?
Great video 👍
It seemed to be a good video but I hate being distracted by those background music and just left before the end. Thanks for your efforts in making it though.
It's one of the best video on this topic. Did these steps and everything worked so perfectly. Thank you so much. Please continue to make content like this
seriously, really good explanation and step by step video,, need more videos from your end. thank you
You headlined it as On premise, which means AD servers laying on a remote site and not within Azure environment! will it be the same process?
I think it must be. He's just created a standard domain. Only difference is it's an MS Virtual server.
This is not migration this is the way to sync users from on prem to cloud.
exactly. I don't know what he's talking about. He just setup AD Hybrid. Now all the computers are still pointing to the domain controller.
Thumbs up for Fianance and Mareketing.👍
What is the cost of to move on premise domain controller to Azure AD?
good
You are Just Osm Bro... the way you show its so useful. Thanks a lot
This is not migration, it is ad sync to use with sso. Migration means moving one place to another. That’s means dismantling on premise DC after ad sync. Is that possible…??
Bro do you have any link regarding migration if so please provide here it will be useful for everyone.
Do not setup AD DS in an Azure VM like this, you need to separate your NTDS/SYSVOL on an extra disk with hosting caching disabled, otherwise you can corrupt your AD database. “Create a separate virtual data disk for storing the database, logs, and sysvol folder for Active Directory. Do not store these items on the same disk as the operating system. By default, data disks that are attached to a VM use write-through caching. However, this form of caching can conflict with the requirements of AD DS. For this reason, set the Host Cache Preference setting on the data disk to None.”
thanks
This video is not clear,, Poor video resolution !!
Can you please turn off the music? It is very bad.
Please remove background music
This has nothing to do with on-prem bud you created the domain controller in the cloud. If this were on-premise this would be a server hosted locally on your network. Did a great job but misleading for some folks. This is not a migration either it’s synchronizing Active Directory to the cloud - M365. Your not migrating anything… unless you stop syncing objects (AD user) then they would be strictly cloud user. Also explain more about each step. Are you using password hash synchronization, syncing all OU’s in forest, write back, etc? Hope we see more updated content with additional details.
Absolutely correct. Misleading video. I was hoping for the AD to be available on prem and then the migration to be done on Azure cloud AD services.
Folks. migration from local ad to Azure Ad called hybrid migration or sync. try to replicate the steps on your local ad should be the same if you faced any errors will be glad if you share it
Very helpful, thank you. if i decide to delete the domain controller, will the users still be there on Azure Active Directory?
Yes, just try that , because users are already migrated to Azure Cloud Directory which is all separate now from domain controller on premise host
@@azuregossip7233 Awesome!! thank you so much
This is not a migration, it's a sync..
Migration to Azure Ad on most cases called Sync or hybrid migration.
Hey, great video, man! How should I contact you? Can you please provide your contact information?
After i created TXT record, still it says inable to verify Domain. Please help. 27:34
Check all steps, might you have missed any.
@ 21:48 you're directly logged in, but I have to enter another sign in for my account, that's where I get stuck. after entering the global admin credentials, I get re-directed to enter another credential
Try login another session in incognito mode, and for AD user migration configuration , pass the credentials that has global admin role
when logging in to Azure AD Connect I get the error that " Unable to retrieve the azure active director configuration. Exception if type Microsoft.online.administration.automation.microsoftonline exception was thrown" - do you have any idea how to resolve this? nothing I found online helps
Brother you have to drop the music seriously, i'm sure outside won't be as bad as this music - if we can't understand what you're teaching then there's no point. I hope you understand our frustration.
Why do you require a background music in this sort of lectures?
Just to avoid outside noise .
To reduce external noise
What a lifesaver, thank you for the detailed tutorial. I successfully migrated all users from a 2008 Server to Azure following your direction. Can't thank you enough!!
Ty..
who wants ur thank you.. for learner which is useful..
Thank you brother, this tutorial was on point
