During Christmas break in my senior year of high school, my brother showed me the basics of saxophone and the following semester I played with my high school’s jazz band. I enjoyed it so much so I continued it through the summer and auditioned for the Jazz Ensemble my first semester of college. I have been a member since so I will continue playing! This video is from our Jazz concert where I play on a Selmar AS500 (student model alto sax). My mouthpiece is an Ernst Schreiber (ESM) Heaven Classic paired with a Andoer leather ligature.

@@MemeAsylumFan nope flutes and trumpet do only thing is trumpet is even harder bc the higher notes are DIFFICULT TO play low brass had the melody (trombone specifically) twice but to give the trumpets always have the melody which is double staff is absurd. TRY TO DO F MAJOR SCALE 2 octave up on trumpet lips gonna be bleeding😭
