Everything should be listed in my caption, you need to book a reservation online. It fills up quick in the winter so definitely take a look at the site now. This was in February, usually there’s more snow so make sure you rent snowshoes and trekking poles!

@mynatureadventures7868 You can hire someone to take you like I did or you can actually canoe and camp along the way. We camped next to a couple that canoed in with their bikes and a dog.

@@iambrlynn yes, but a jet boat would take you right there all along. I'm an old injured fart who couldn't canoe like that. Jet boat or taxi boat as my second option but I'm used to being a princess around my princess comfortable rooftop tent and having everything close by the car for camping convenient for my back injuries.

I went with Enterprise at the airport. They tried to up charge me a lot for auto protection but we stuck with the base price and everything was fine. Check out was easy, they didn’t try to say there was new damage and they were very nice!

@@iambrlynnusually you don’t need a credit card when renting from the airport.. a debit card is acceptable. Is this the case in Tulum? Or you def need a credit card?

I think I used a credit card because I wanted the points, I’m not sure if it’s necessary though. Good to bring just in case!

I rented a car at the airport! You can also rent bikes and atvs once you’re in Tulum. Hope that helps!!

@@iambrlynn That does help. Were you worried about the cops trying to pull you over ever or getting scammed at gas stations. I just heard so many horror stories about that.

@TylerStanczak I have heard about the cops so my friend and I made sure to have some cash on us just in case. We did see a lot of cops in heavy military gear, thankfully we were never pulled over. I think you’ll be fine as long as you’re not doing anything suspicious or traveling in a large group. I haven’t heard about the gas stations scamming however we had no issues there. Tulum is one of the safer places in Mexico!

Thank you for watching! I think it truly depends where you’re traveling from. As someone who lives in Oregon where you’re able to freely capture the nature around, I honestly never would have expected to have to pay to use my camera in nature. I also didn’t realize they commercialized the majority of it. I did expect the crowds but not to the extent haha so although it’s expected I wanted to show what a lot of people typically don’t in my video. 😅
