Thanks for stopping by Gary. I find the duet system to be the easiest to learn. It's intuitive. The left and right hand mirror each other. You get the same note on the push and pull, (unisonoric), and you can play bass and chords easily for accompaniment. If you have any specific questions I'll try to help. You know, the you tube channel where I got this, Werner Schmedding, he made backgrounds for at least ten or fifteen Hoagy Carmichael tunes, that I wasn't even aware of. I didn't know he was so prolific. Talk with you later, J. X.

I've tried several traditional Irish flutes, one from Mcneela, (Cocuswood), and one of their Lou Dubh polymer flute. There's nothing like the real thing for that sound. Unfortunately my fingers went half numb about twenty years ago, so I can't feel the holes to cover them with my fingers. Almost had me quitting, but the pads on the silver flute cover the holes for me. You have to deal with what life sends you. Thanks so much for stopping by, regards my friend, John X.

Thanks Gary, I've gone to playing the regular flute more than whistles because of numb fingers. On the silver flute the pads cover the holes for me. The regular flute works great for traditional, just add some embellishments and Bob's your uncle. Thanks for checking out my stuff, J. X.
