The moment Anna Sheridan walks to him, slowely, with the music playing in the background... Truly one of the greatest scenes in history of SF
Due to the Shadows own philosophy they're unlikely to be angry about that attack. The Drakh yeah they'd be angry but the Shadows this is themselves experiencing the chaos of war and evolution making them better and stronger. Why would they be angry at being helped? If anything they'd be proud of humans for getting them a good one. Not the using a filthy Vorlon derived ship part but the blow them to hell and back part, that they'd be proud of.
The temptation was never going to work. Sheridan is from a society where Death of Personality is a thing.
Ronald McDonald kills me, lol
The best way to end a hectic crazy workday was "The Late Show with David Letterman"!!!
He could've just asked for a divorce.😂
Kosh : If you go to Z'ha'dum, you will die. Capt. John Sheridan : Then I die, but I will not go down easily, I will not go down alone!
roasted shadow
Yes Rico...Kaboom!
John Sheridan will soon meet Lorien. 😮
Melissa Gilbert (Anna) has got a freaky scream!
I remember watching this when it first came out. It was so groundbreaking. Without B5 we'd have never had some of the amazing 'slowburn' TV we've had since then. What an incredible cliff hanger to a series.
Shadows should have installed serious planetary defences to their homebase planet. Those arrogant and ruthless vorlon minions could try to use WMDs.
Just noticed something ... When Anna looks up and screams ... she doesn't take a big lungful of air before the scream like most actors.
Alternate episode title: LITTLE HOUSE PORCH ON THE Z’HA’DUM!🏡👩🦰🚀💥🌔 Or: CAPTAIN SCARECROW AND MRS SHERIDAN !
God stuff, God stuff everybody. Sorry God stuff. Don't worry I got it, well I mean most of it. I'm Hope.
I love how Sheridan fulfilled the prophecy that if anything Vorlon touches the planet surface, they would die.
Christopher Franke's score for B5 is his masterpiece.
That's how you go out your way, wiping out as much evil as you in the bargain
The only thing i can compare this with is in the abbys when lindsey drowns herself and when bud is willing to die for her.
This is one of the greatest series in existence
I always said Laura Ingalls was evil.
The reason she screamed is because she saw her electric bill😊
It’s taken me all these years to realise John rhymes with Tron.
And John, WAS tron. Also, Londo Mollari was also in the Tron movie as well., well, Peter Jurrasic was.
John Sheridan handled this situation maturely. But John Crichton would have Laughed in Anna's face, taunted her with an Earth saying that she didn't understand, tongue kissed one of the Shadows, then jumped backwards over the railing with both middle fingers up.
Its amazing this guys can be nuke, and they still come back.
That’s one way to sign the divorce papers
Ironically, Bruce (John) was married to Melissa Gilbert (Anna) at the time, they had been married around a year. They divorced in 2011.
The Shadows fell for their own selfish "What do you want". They felt that if he wanted Anna, he wouldn't do a thing to endanger her, and perhaps become a new agent for them, like (Ahhh) Mister Morden.
Good O'l John Nuk'em Sheridan
Toasty.
John shoulda got with the new sexy shadow Anna!
I think that'd technically be necrophilia, given the real one is seriously dead and this is her remote controlled corpse.
.......no defences on the main HQ and they were touched by something of the vorlons and destroyed
Were it my call, I would have had Kosh's ship fly in at the last second to catch Sheridan He would still meet Lorean, after the ship saves him, it refuses to leave until he talks to him And then, after that, the Vorlon ship would take them back to B5 and remain with Sheridan or leave again to never be seen again But this would also spare Sheridan from only living 20 after this day
@TEXNICK96 Kosh ship died after he was killed by the shadows
@@charlesdoyle3630 I know, I'm just saying that's how I'd change the outcome a bit. Plus it would be cool if for the brief time, the ship would view Sheridan as its new pilot (while Kosh was inside him)
Two Shadows out of the blast radius see the explosion. Shadow 1: “I TOLD you that he was called John “Nuke ‘Em” Sheridan for a reason, Steve. Remember when I told you that there was a REASON they called him that?” Shadow 2: “Fuck off, Ralph.”
Maxim 20: If you're not willing to shell your own position, you're not willing to win.
You would have thought that the Shadows would have destroyed the White Star the second Sheridan entered the facility set aside for their Heralds.
You know... the legend said that if ever Vorlon Tech touched the ground at Z'ha'dum the world would end. Pretty sure it was NOT the Vorlon tech that the Shadows should have been worried about.
Well - a nuclear explosion is a nuclear explosion. There's not much to debate :D
"Consider that a divorce!"
Before RUclips culture
If Sheridan carried the ring to mount doom.... he'd have threw it in.
AFTER nuking Barad-dur!
No, he'd wear it while jumping in 😂😂😂...but get teleported back in a ship without wearing the ring at the absolute last second ❤❤❤ and recieve a Hero's welcome back on Deep Space Ni--, I mean Babylon 5...whew 😂😂😂❤❤❤
@@morgancook5000 I like how you think!
OMG.I just watched the entire series in the last 3 months. All five years worth but this is one of the episodes I will watch again and again. The emotional rollercoaster sacrifice, love anger, betrayal, and sadness is so gripping. This some good a-- TV and some of the best Sci-fi ever.
♡♡♡♡
"John, honey... you wouldn't hurt me, would you, sweetheart? Sweetheart, be reasonable. After all, we're married!" _"Consider this a divorce!"_ *jumps*
The second part has to be said with a thick Austrian accent. That's the law.
I remember seeing this on tv when it aired, it was like holy s he blow the s out of them
If you go to Z'Ha'Dum, you will jump.
Little Laura Ingells all grown up.
Its so refreshing to read the comments here and see people with some taste and appreciation of first class storytelling, given some of the trash folk gush over now. I can always tell a true science fiction fan from their level of B5 appreciation! Hopefully more people watch it now its free on Amazon - imagine living your whole life and never hearing one of G'Kar's speeches?
I love most all things sci-fi - even the cheesy stuff has an endearing quality sometimes. But Babylon 5 was, in part due to scenes like this, one of the best of the best of the best - with honors.
Now thats what i call a divorce!
