Просмотров 28 тыс.7 лет назад
This is from the 2002 Disney Film "Tuck Everlasting" and filmed at Kilgore Falls near Pylesville, MD in Harford County. It's a beautiful natural setting open to the public and part of the Maryland State Park System.

New Life for Old Panniers

I couldn't find a video on this, so I made a short & simple tutorial on giving new life to a set of old Pannier bags. This replaces the older, low-tech hooks to new, locking hooks from Ortleib.

This scene was so weird to see since I red the book first and thought that winnie was 10 in the movie
I watched the whole movie with my class and everyone was screaming at this part-😂
I wish Winnie drank the water
Wish she became Winnie tuck
@@larryfrazier5925 frrrrrr
I’ve been to those falls. It’s about an hour away drive from my house in MD. I’ll be going swimming there soon. A beautiful place. A long trail walk to get there from the parking lot each way. A good, romantic movie.
Where exactly are these falls? Please be specific as possible I definitely want to visit them i'm in chicago
Jack Frost - Jesse Rapunzel - Winnie
They look freezing!
You can bet they got warm instantly
Hollywood makes films about immortality and time travel: The Mummy (The Book of the Dead and the Book of Life), Tuck Everlasting (Spring Water), Atlantis (Crystal), Harry Potter (Hermione's time turner), The Fountain (The sap from the Tree of Life), The Illusionist (Magic)...etc.
104/17 year old making out with a ten year old. Idk why we read this in 6th grade. This story is basically child grooming
Leave this damn country
isnt that everyone thought when they read the book
Jesse is such a catch, I fell in love with him instantly, Winnie's home life reminds me of Rapunzel's in some ways, this movie and book were one my favorites in school next to "Holes" and "The Crusible"
I LOVED HOLESS
Jim Hawkins - Jesse Melody - Winnie
Essa cena é linda, o filme é lindo. Amo. Um dos filmes que sempre me fazem chorar e ainda assim eu assisto.
Jesse?
Yes
dawg i was watching this for the first time ever yesterday, high as shit and when they got into the argument about if god was real, the alien was speaking mad facts 😌
Hahahaha, hope you enjoyed the rest of the film. It’s one of my favorites! Nearly every scene has an homage to film, television, books, UFO lore and legendary scientists and discoveries. One of these days I’ll need to put together a ‘pop-up video’ version of the film for reference.
@@clrlmiller such a good movie that scene was just so agreeable, probably one of my top 5 favorite movie now
“Thank you for putting it so vividly and yes, considering I’d sink like a rock, drowning is a fair concern!” Sounds just like Rory there.
That famed Gilmore wit😉
Tender
I'm reading the book in class very romantic
She really should've became Winnie tuck
I jumped off that rock! Nice spot, but there are people there everyday when it's nice.
Where is it?
@@Slytherin1Maryland
@@FontaineEdits Thank you!
Where exactly is this place
@FriarOfMasques Maryland a big place can you be more specific
Like everyone else I’ve only just noticed the invincible tv shirt
This is my favorite part
20th anniversary
😂
The book and movie ARE SO UNDER RATED I love it so much
ABSOLUTELY AGREE!! It’s one of my favorites of all time 🥲♥️
the movie sucks. the books good
So cool glad you guys are doing well
Heard that this film ruined the falls They cut up a tree the locals used to jump off of and filled the creek for rocks Hope y’all enjoy this one scene because it ruined it for everyone
Thanks I enjoyed it a lot
Is that why it's not deep? I was gonna say how are they treading water? It's like waste height now.
@@ReadyActual The hole was temporarily filled in years ago as a “safety measure” since some people were leaping from the cliff face and not the rock as shown. It (the hole) has since returned to its previous depth. A few good Summer rainstorms and the water coming off the falls jetted all the gravel back out. The park service also cast a number of logs into the hole area as another effort. But a few folks with camping saws took care of that as well.
Grew up 5 min from here. Still very popular durring the summer
That aliens are awesome?
Soooooooooo romantic! sigh
Wth- the boy, Jesse is immortal and is actually 104 but looks 17, and the girl, Winnie is 10-
@@yourlocalBlNGUS Hahaha, good point, but they obviously made her a teenager for the movie. She was ten in the book.
@@the_light_writer well yeah, imagine if she were 10 and still kissed Jesse in that one scene 🤐
It would've been perfect if she had left with him and became Winnie tuck
1:57 I can just imagine frank and brenda arguing lmao.
God is an Alien race, I was recently talking to God about this recently.
Paul is voiced by Seth Rogen?
Yup, though I’d imagine his voice acting was largely improvised. Still holding onto hope for a sequel.
@@clrlmiller it’s been years 😔
Invincible shirt is so cash 🔥💀🔥
I can't remember one thing besides that kick ass invincible shirt Simon pegg is wearing. Just finished the first compendium
I'm just gonna comment #Invincible hoping this blows up and everyone who hasn't watched this movie will go and watch cause it's an amazing fucking movie.

I do to that to heart they both have fingers, toes, eyes, ears the same body plan but aesthetically different in ways.
“And that’s jenga”
Evolution and creation are both real, when will people understand this? The universe is 13,7 billion years old, earth is 5 billion years old, humans are descendants of ape/primate ancestors, our planet is just one of billions and there are countless alien civilisations out there. But this all didn't happen random by accident, there is a highest creating power behind all of it and humans have found many different names for this creating power, the common name is god. The big bang is true but even science can't explain where the bing bang and the laws of nature of our universe came from, so there must be a highest absolute power behind the big bang and the laws of nature, and we call this highest power god. And the existence of aliens does in no way contradict god. In fact the existence of aliens actually proves that life is not a random accident but has been created to be the way it is. God has created aliens, where is the problem?
If Evolution and creation are equally plausible, then what was the point of starting us out as microscopic organisms instead of just putting us at the primitive human age? No dinosaurs would be needed since all they were were the evolution of countless creatures becoming the dominant species before a mass extinction event wiped them out and mammals took that place since mammals survived whatever cataclysm there was. Christianity constantly talks about how we are [humans] God's children and whatnot, yet nothing in any bible, New Testament or otherwise, suggest anything remotely close to extra terrestrial. Angels not counting as they're definitely anything but mortal creatures. And let's go with how God created the Big Bang, the Big Bang happened at the start of the universe (obviously) and thus absolutely nothing existed, not even time. How did God exist, and what created him, and what created the thing that created God? It becomes an endless loop. Since by that logic, God had to have been made and evolved by something.
The problem is some, if not most people think in terms of black-and-white, an either/or. There are fundamentalists among both the religious believers and evolutionists. I think it takes more faith to believe that the universe and everything in it occurred by mere random chance than to believe it was created by a supreme being. Bertrand Russell once argued that a million monkeys typing at a million typewriters for a million years would type up the first page of Hamlet by chance. Does anybody explain Hamlet that way? It could be very well be argued that evolution is scientific evidence for God.
As to the question of aliens, obviously we don’t know for sure if there are extrasolar planets inhabited by intelligent life. Given the size and age of the observable universe, I think it is improbable that we are the only ones in the universe.
From the way I see it, science can explain the how, but religion explains the why. Nietzsche once said that science’s flaw is that it can explain the how, but not the why.
One last thing: I think atheism is self-contradictory to an extent; atheists use arguments to try and prove their conclusions that there is no God, but in order to argue, you have to use your brain. But if there is no spiritual designer behind your computer brain, the very instrument you use to do science and philosophize, and thoughts are no more than the result of blind molecules bumping into each other, why trust your arguments for atheism?
I wish I knew about Invincible before the show came out but it’s funny looking back at this movie and noticing the t-shirt
SO SHWEEEETTT...much love Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO.[the music worldwide} YES....CLASSIC...!!!
To think bible thumpers actually think this way and they seriously think that the world is only six thousand years old actually 🙄🤦🏻♀️.
