I think I have the motion down fairly well, but I just can not get past 200 bpm. Any tips?
Nice! You can work on endurance, speed and control exercises to increase your BPM range. Example: Play at 205 BPM for at least 15 to 20 seconds. Once you're done and you feel it was clean, precise and consistent. Increase 5 BPM and repeat the same dynamic until you reach your max tempo. Continue doing this daily and you should be able to see progress 🤘🏻

Bro, I've been watching your videos and damn bro, I'm going through a horrible time with my feet, previously I played at 185bpm doing a single stroke in a semiquaver, and from one moment to the next I have a lot of trouble reaching my speed sometimes I play at 160 sometimes at 145 sometimes at 150 and bro I need help hahaha, wouldn't you give classes to be able to help me with my problem, I've seen that you have a very good ankle technique. Care to share the trigger settings?
Hey there! Can't recall what I had for trigger settings back then since I switched modules and tested other settings. But, what matters the most is adjusting the "Retrig Cancel" and the "Threshold". Start with the values on "0" and increase or decrease these values until you get the desired result. Cheers.

Does the length of the beater shaft and the weight of the beater make a difference here? Any recommendations?
It does. Adding a beater (shaft) weight can help with the beater swing. If you want more control you can slide it all the way up (like shown in the video) setting it in the middle will give you best of both worlds (more swing and control). Setting your beater height also has a huge impact. If it's all the way up the pedal will feel heavier and slower. If you slide it down it will let you swing faster since there's less weight the pedal has to handle. Experimenting will help you find your personal setting.
