I enjoyed this video and hope to see you back on NOW Gardening some time soon. Portugal is so beautiful! Last year was my first visit. I returned this year and spent three weeks hiking from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The Camino Portugués is breathtaking, and there's nothing better than a fabulous sunset over the ocean every night. I added the Spiritual Variant in Spain and recommend the Camino and Variant highly. You could make the journey with your son or just the two of you. Hike as little or as much as you like and continue to enjoy wonderful seafood along the way!

Lille looks very different in real life, All the travel videos are the same showing little snippets of nice buildings, The reality is it is a dirty city lots of rubbish everywhere and graffiti litters the city. Once you leave the main square the rest of the city shows itself.

From what I’ve read they almost certainly had venison, as you mentioned, and ground nuts (a potato-like native root vegetable). Seafood definitely makes sense! And maybe some passenger pigeons as they would have been easy picking at the time. I’m trying to think what other native fruits can be foraged in late fall: persimmon, Pawpaw, hawthorn, dried currants and gooseberries (they sometimes dry right on the bush). They could have had a good chance of eating “highbush cranberry” which is actually a Viburnum, if they had natives showing them how to forage. The fruits are ripe in mid October, just in time for a fall feast, and they grow pretty far north along the coast.

Thanks so much for your contribution to this. I love what you’ve added, especially the possibilities for foraging different foods and berries. Great insight. Thanks again and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday 😊

Does anybody know which brand of Moroccan EVOO is really true and top quality? I've heard that the only way to be sure is to have your bottle tested by a reputable company to be sure it's what it says it is, but who's got the time and money for that? As you all know, there are a lot of fakes and mixtures out there, the labels could easily be a lie. So, does anyone have a recommendation? Which Moroccan EVOO is authentic and pure? Please advise.

I would start by contacting the US embassy in Casablanca or the American schools (neighborhoods California, Bouskoura, and George Washington academy) and British schools too.
