‎اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَ سَلِّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ Allaahumma salli wa sallim 'alaa Nabiyyinaa Muhammad Ubayy ibn Ka‘b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, I want to send more blessings upon you (before offering supplication); how much of my supplication should I allocate to that? He ﷺ said: “Whatever you wish.” I said: One quarter? He ﷺ said “Whatever you wish, but if you do more, it will be better for you.” I said: Half? He ﷺ said: “Whatever you wish but if you do more, it will be better for you.” I said: Two thirds? He ﷺ said: “Whatever you wish, but if you do more, it will be better for you.” I said: Shall I make all of my supplication for that? He ﷺ said: “Then your worries will be taken care of and your sin will be forgiven.” (Tirmidhi, classed as hasan by al-Albaani).

(1) INTENTIONS: Intend Good & Resolve (عزم) to Obey Allah. (2) Recommended acts of worship: - Fasting 1. Stand in prayer at night 2. Read Qur’an (attempt to recite its entirety) 3. Keep in the mosques 4. Give charity (feed the poor & fasting person) - Guard the tongue (from cursing, swearing, backbiting, insulting, etc.)

Note: In minute 7:02, the Shaykh said the angels do tasbih for the person while waiting for the salat, I believe that is a slip of the tongue from the Shaykh as the hadith's say they send salat on the person, so I edited that in the subtitles, wallahu A'alam

Assalamualaikum akhi, I'm from Bangladesh🇧🇩, subscribed and started watching these videos to get important nasihah from shaikhs, and also to clear my Arabic vocabulary. I find subtitled Arabic video very much helpful to increase my Arabic understanding. May Allah bless you and give higher jazaa for this all translations

assalamu'alaikum; I think it would be beneficial to use a different font as this one makes it difficult to read quickly as the sheikh speaks quite quickly. Other fonts that are less handwriting like make it easier to read. Jazaakallahu Khairan

وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَأَقِمْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتِينَ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا Qur'an 33:33 The ayah is clear proof that the wives of Nabi ﷺ are Ahlul Bayt.

Do not listen to this man. He contradicts what Sheikh Saleh Al Fawzan has said about Ahlul Bayt. Ahlul Bayt includes the wives of Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)

لا يصح لإن في الحديث صيغة الجمع 'إنما الأعمال بالنيات' و صيغة الجمع يقتضي أن الإنسان يمكن له أن ينوي نيات متعددة في عمل واحد إن نوى مجرد فائدة الدنيا فيثاب إذن أيضا لامتثال أمر النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم و هذا دليل على إيمانه بالرسالة و التصديق بما جاء به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Note: "Shall I teach you a thing which is better than what you have asked me? When you go to bed, say, 'Allahu-Akbar' thirty-four times, and 'Subhan Allah thirty-three times, and 'Al hamdu-li l-lah thirty-three times for that is better for you both than a servant." - Sahih Al Bukhari 3705 This hadith mentions Allahu Akbar 34 times in contrast to what the Shaykh says, I believe it was a slip of the tongue from the Shaykh or there may exist another narration i am ignorant about, but just to note this is a sahih hadith on the topic Barakallahu feekum

There was a mistake in the video. Allahu Akbar is to be said 34 times.
