@ that is why the OVR is on it to show velocity. He hit 75 for 4 right before that with an avg velocity of .38 so .15 and .18 is right on the money and as far as my hands being on it is to insure that if he has a bad rep I can get the bar. I assure you he got that weight and his form was perfect.

@rickeysaunders7951 in what world is tht perfect form he starts out like he's guna do a skull crusher then brings over his head and neck like what do you think is going to happen with heavier weight

@@RepublicOfKorea55unfortunately he is out that far so that when he brings the bar down and then presses it he will avoid the j hooks on the rack. Also another reason I am spotting the way I am.

There was a middle school student pass away from a concussion related injury and their family donated a guardian cap to every football player in our county from PeeWee to High School.

We had a kid in our community pass away from a concussion and their family donated guardian caps for every football player in our community from pre wee to HS. They do look funny, but we are grateful.

@@rickeysaunders7951 oh wow sorry to hear about that. They definitely need good helmets and is worth more than anything to be protected. I’m glad something was done about that traumatic event!

That is the beauty of travel football. I seen something similar with a team from Texas that had a bigger kid play in the back field but he was also fast.

I just wonder what kind of player he could develop into as he gets older? I know when I was in my ball playing days, if we were up they may feed one of the linemen the rock to get them a score. Hopefully that moment will be a positive memory for him and a learning point for us. I feel like our kids responded well from that loss and played them tough for 2 games in the championship.

We don’t go heavy very often. I have a gravity box that measures bar speed. We focus more on lighter weight moving at or around .6m/s. This builds explosiveness and allows the progression to more weight be more conservative.
