XIX Workshop was founded back in late 2020 when for some reason I had a lot more time on my hands (Like we all did). Starting with no knowledge at all, I embarked on a wood working journey! This channel is here to document my learning in the woodworking world. - Alexander Parnell

Over the coming months I plan to create a short series of videos documenting my work as a beginner wood worker. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to...
Wow! what a great shop! I just found your channlw and wanted to know , were did you get that clock ? Oh and yes I'm looking at the rest of your plans on esty too.
Honestly probably the best video I’ve seen soo far on organizing everything u need in a small space. U definitely have a good mind for this. Kudos. New subscriber here.
Great shop!
if you have a chance could you do a vid aobut your saw
Hi Alex, well done! I feel you have a smart blend of precision, authentiity and common sense in what you have created and how you elate it on the video. Will be tagging onto a few of your ideas for my own, even smaller space, that is about to launch. Have subscribed to hear more. Iike the french cleat wall build video as well. Do you have a video/plans on the build of your table saw workbench? Seems like the size I would preference and am saving up to buy the same Dewalt unit. All the best
great use of the french cleat 👍
Can’t say thank you enough for this video. I was thinking of giving up on a workshop until I saw this. Great to see.
Good job young man! Nicely done.
Great to see your workshop, thanks for sharing.
Great video, fab to see a British workshop tour, more content please🇬🇧
Great layout…helpful for my own project ..thanks!!
Great use of small space. Humbles me and helps me crack on with sorting my shit. Thanks mate!
Very good
I wish my workshop could be this clean
Same
it is not small as you think
Looking good 👍
Love the some man. Keep it up
thank you! calm and good explanation. Gave you a like and suscribe
It’s perfect! So inspiring
Great video, I’d like your opinion on the jointer as I’m in the market for one and there’s not many videos on our choices of machines in the UK.
Nice job on both the shop and the vid
That’s awesome dude! I’m literally in the process of planning out my garden shed workshop! 🙌🏼 do you mind me asking how much you’ve spent so far in tools and equipment? Unless you want to make it into a video. As I’ll be doing it as a hobby to begin with but would love for it to be more than that. Nice one keep up the content 👍🏼
Any comments he says...when can you come and sort out mine.😂😂
awesome . only tip i have is put your screw case on a drawer , it makes them very handy
Nice set up in a small space! Great Inspo 👌
Какой у вас хороший гараж, так много разного инструмента). Я под ✍ся, а вы?.
you give me hope for my new workshop which is slightly bigger than your by 2 feet in each direction.
Do you have a dust Extraction system? If so what is it? And what's best way to hook it up pls
You did a great job at utilizing the limited space, very good planning on your part.
I'm going to give your channel a chance and subscribe.
Great video. Finally a workshop that looks like my space.
Very nicely done
Nice shop
Oh, thought you meant small...mine is only 12' x 16'...
Safety first dust mask goggles and extractor
Well done! I do window restoration in Michigan. I am planning an expansion of my channel. Thank you for the inspiration.
Cheap sand paper on a random orbital sander is actually a false economy, there are plenty of youtubers who have done extensive testing on length verses price, and at the moment 3M Xtract is coming out best at about 1/2 the cost of the cheap sandpapers if you compare the amount of sanding you can do per sheet
Daaaamn… I need one of these!
The hatchet might not get much use, but it looks cool!
It's a fantastic looking, high-utility cleat wall! And you may have convinced me to start mine anew by mounting the cleats to a full sheet of ply (they're currently mounted flat to the wall).
Hyped
Thanks dude! 🙏
Just subbed, looking forward to your content
Describe your maturity level using only your calculator: 80085 ngl I still do this haha
😂😂
Awesome, thanks for sharing
Thanks Jason!
What plywood did you use for your tool wall? I've been trying to get some ply that isn't Meranti faced and this stuff looks just like what I'm after!
This was just cheap soft wood faced ply from my local b and q!
Very nice and cosy workshop, can I ask what size is the place/garage?
Thank you, it’s a standard uk car garage, so about 5.5m by 2.6m internally
I like it. Lets see some projects. Nice video. Thanks
Thank you!
For some reason, a hatchet. 😆
😂😂
Thought this guy was English. Sad to see American terms being used. Surprised he didn't say jointer 🤦👎
@@leeowen7302 sorry mum
Your mallet is great. I love it. Please, though, turn down the volume when you are running power tools. Thank you
Thanks man, will keep that in mind for the next videos!
I started out with a drill, jigsaw and orbital sander to build a lot of custom furniture. It really was all I needed until I got addicted to power tools 😅. I did recently consider a table saw but due to space limitations I chose a track saw instead which does everything I needed a table saw to do . As a hobbyist that's all I really needed. I do have an addiction to feed though and am trying to rationalise the purchase of a mitre saw ( hmmm let's see....).
That’s awesome man! The track saw was one of the first tools I bought and it’s so great, can be used for so many different cuts etc!
Great stuff. Many thanks.
