looks a lot like miami
hey mate, have you tried any other similar rods to the 722lfs? such as a millerod grubfreak and whatnot ? love the 722LRS SK that i have its one of my favs, just wondering how your liking the rod and if you have any comparisons, none of my stores have them yet! cheers mate great video!
Thanks for watching. I really like this rod. I really think that it is the skeleton real seat that is the big difference from a Miller Rod. The sensitivity that’s not dampened by foam on the Miller Rods. I might choose a Miller Rod if they had the skeleton grip, but these new SK’s are so good. I also think that consistency of rods is important when you have a couple of rods on deck. This probably hasn’t helped you much.
@@MickD_Fishing yeah mate! definitely keen to get my hands on it seems like the goods, you should check out a millerod grubfreak if you get the chance! has the skeleton grip! its a great rod! thanks mate!
Cool vid 👌🏽
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching mate.
Awesome work mate!
Thanks mate. Loving that SK Rod
Nice one Micky D , plenty of breambos mate ...think I need to try the hurricane 70 skimp ... thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for checking it out mate. They so good and definitely worth giving them a go
Good to see the fish coming back in numbers 🔥. Great session Mick 👏
Thanks mate. There are a few around. I actually caught way more but had plenty of issues with the Go Pro’s as usual
Nice video, kayak looks awesome
Thanks for watching. Yeah my kayak set up is pretty awesome. Do you think people would be interested in a kayak walk through video to check out my set up in more detail?
I am youtube video seo expert. Please send me your email. Because i went to give you advice about your channel.
Yeah nah

Bream it up! Well done bloke. I only seem to get them on bait.
Thanks mate. Bream are pretty easy to get on lures. Just start with a 2.5 inch grub in motor oil colour with a 1/16th jig head. Fish slow and keep on persisting. Try leaving the bait at home and committing to it. You will get the rewards with practice
Nice video Micky D ... was a great watch mate , ended up finding some bream in the end , well done ... go the cranka crab 🦀 . Looked like your sounder came good . Look forward see upcoming videos champion 👍
Thanks mate. Only the mapping worked not the down or side scans. The karma is really for sure 😂. I’m back into the videos now
@MickD_Fishing , karma .... looking forward to seeing more my friend 😊
@CrebosFishingAdventures Iv’e got a couple cooking up
Red fine lots and small one😂
Always lots of reddies around
I think if you do youtube more consistently than you could be one of the best Aussie fishing channels there is, and honestly, I don't know how you don't have more subscribers
You should watch winsorebait and tackle 🤯
Thanks so much. I really appreciate the positive comments. I probably need to post some more videos for more people to find my channel.
Love the fish jumping out of the water 😊🎣
Anytime a fish jumps while on your line is so cool. Thanks for checking out my videos

Very glad that I didn’t 😂
nice catch bro, love it!

Where is this?
Sydney
What a nice spot so quiet. Just want to know what bag you carrying. And are your lures deep
I didn’t carry a bag on this trip. Just some small plyers, tube is scent and a pocket size tackle tray that had three extra hardbodies lures and some jigheads and a few plastics. If I do carry a bag I have the Patagonia Atom Sling bag. It’s a fly fishing bag but works so well for wading the flats. The lures are medium runners so dive to about 1.8m. The flats are much shallower then that is why I keep the rod tip up of down depending on what I want the lure to do
Haha how funny watching the first flathead...knows how to get itself back in the water. Fish are smarter than people give them credit for
Yeah flathead always know which way to wiggle themselves back for the water. It is really interesting
Looks like a great spot to fish.
It can be good but at other times it can also be tough. That’s fishing I guess. Thanks for watching
At around 9:45, I highly recommend wearing sun glasses to protect your eyes
Totally agree. I actually take off my sunglasses just when I do my talking to the camera. After that they are straight back on.
Tighten your drag
Will do
Are you left handed or do you like your dominant hand holding the rod?
That’s a relevant question, so many anglers fish back to front to me, it makes me second guess myself thinking am I the one that’s is actually left handed / right handed !!
Dominant hand is my right. Prefer it for casting and controlling the rod. I find it interesting that so many people cast and change hands. Especially when so many fish hit lures as soon as they land on the water. I want to be ready to control and wind on the fish when they hit.
whats the rod weight in kg if you dont mind me asking?
It’s pretty light which makes it fun. 1.5-3kg
@@MickD_Fishing thanks!

Off Regatta Point, ALWAYS expect to catch a big carp. Or Yebbly or cod. You never know. From Commonwealth Ave Bridge to the flow out from Commonwealth park is a grab bag with every cast. It is awesome fu to fish, but you can lose a few. Use the ladders. They help heaps lol. I have to get a net myself.
Thanks for checking it out. Thanks for the advice about the ladders. That’s a good tip
Any time you are heading up, let me know. LBG is my backyard. @@MickD_Fishing
I really enjoyed watching the carp hook up, you showed a lot of patience and control. Please get a longer and bigger landing net.
Thanks for watching 👍 I really did take my time as I had to with only 6lb line. I do have a longer and bigger net so it was a shame I didn’t have it with me. Next time for sure
well done on the fresh water fishies.
Thanks so much mate. Going to chase the mighty Murray Cod next visit
Nice sesh Mick! Maybe you’ll find me there once. New sub here!
Thanks for subscribing mate. Say hello if you see me out on the water
The second flatty went crazy 🤣
Those little ones always go so nuts especially when they are in the net fast when they don’t realise that they are hooked
@@MickD_Fishing I had a 96cm on once, she had 20 minutes to realise she was hooked. Probably after 18 minutes she decided she was too tired to keep dragging me and my kayak 🤣
Nice video 😊
Thanks for your comment and checking it out
Gotta get those horses and dogs! 😁
There are always many more to get and always bigger ones. Thanks for checking the video out mate
@MickD_Fishing yep, I get them fairly regular, I've subscribed to your channel.
Nice set up Mick. Does it go on the roof or do you have a trailer? Look forward to a gear and setup video 👍👍
Thanks mate. I roof top my kayak. Some of my other videos show either at the beginning or end the load and or unload off the car. A gear video is something I have been considering doing. I’ll try and do one I. The next couple of weeks
Nice ... thanks for sharing
Thanks for tuning in Crebbo. Appreciate the support. I’ve been enjoying your videos too
@MickD_Fishing , cheers .... my content been slow at the moment while I'm having back issues 😢
@CrebosFishingAdventures that is not good to hear mate. Hope you are able to get it sorted out soon.
You should fish gunnamatta bay in Cronulla similar hoat ramp seen heaps of bream and decent flattys dowm there ust didnt have me gear but good video bro
Thanks for checking the video out mate. A mate and I were talking about Gunnamatta Bay the other day as he went out and slayed the flatties. On my list for sure
sick video! where do you launch in the harbour?
Hi mate. I'm in the east so I launch at Rose Bay, Double Bay, Watsons Bay, Vaucluse Park and even Rushcutters Bay. Some places have ramps, beach launches or down some steps or off a pontoon. There are so many places to launch all around Sydney Harbour. I am sure there are a ton of places on the Northside and then you have Botany Bay, Georges River and Cooks River
Just binged on your videos mate enjoyed everyone thank you for the uploads, top shelf stuff !!!!
Glad you like them and I appreciate you checking them all out. Going to try and keep more coming
