Thats literally just an American problem istg. Here in Europe (especially here in germany) the cashiers are so fast wuth everything, you cant get your stuff quickly enough. Plus, litarally look at the peoples carts before you. Then you can also tell if its gonna be faster or slower depending on how much they bought.

When I was younger, one of our neighbors used to ring us all the time, for whatever reason. "Hello, do you happen to have a cup of sugar?" "Have you seen my hamster?" "Can I pet your dog?" "Where do you work?" After about a year of this terror, my parents decided to get a "do not disturb" sign. The very first day we had the sign up, it was finally quiet. No knocking or ringing from our neighbor, so we think it was a good investment........ Our good investment burned down the day we hung it up, because our neighbor set fire to the building where our apartment was....... Those signs bring bad luck

because they hold memories. I collected a lot in my childhood, and completely forgot about some things until I opened up a box of old souvenirs and could tell you exactly each and every story behind them, where I got them, and other memories that unlocked together with seeing those souvenirs

On the 23rd of December we were having a huge Christmas party with my whole family and my Nana came home from Scotland two days before that and that night my sister vomited first then I did then my mom did then my dad did and then in the morning my Nana did we all had the vomiting bug and I was so excited for the Christmas party 😢

Many times I have assembled furniture without using the instructions… Although there were times were there were so many different parts that I would be a fool to think I could do it without the instructions
