@@312BM if you mean the purple smoke then yes, the purple smoke is a added effect from the ritual alter thats called elemental clouds i think. But the black smoke im pretty sure is like a barrier.

@@ScuffedMcjagger2025 ohh i agree its crazy they should tune it abit more lol. And yes have noticed the last few days there is ALOT of ice strike builds lol. As soon as I got ice strike the game became alot easier, combo that with Bell and charged staff and it spirals out of control lol. Im new to the game so I dont really know how crazy it was in PoE lol

@@thomasjefferson2676 might be your gear, the attacks scale like crazy with physical damage so try and get a weapon with alot of phys damage and you will notice a big diffrence!

@ thanks man! I think my staff is not bad. It seems like it’s 55 to 65 physical damage or something but I’m not sure I’m not in front of it right now. Maybe I can come back later and tell you and you’ll let me know, but I’m trying to find the best stuff I can and I’ve been grinding my ass off. I’m almost level 50.

@@thomasjefferson2676 you wanna try and get the number at the top as high as you can. Which means you need example 10-30 phys dmg and 100% increased phys dmg and so on. The prefixes wanna have as much phys dmg you can get. And for the suffixes you want attack speed and crit. maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/el1x50np added a weapon with the stats or whatever you need can get leach mana or leach life too.

I main a Monk and if anything that is super broken LOL 🤣 I dont get why people are complaining about nerfs especially if its really broken. Looked up spark builds after i played it and that looks CRAZY! You stand in a spot and spam spark lol so i went back to monk

Yeah i had the same problem had to cut down on damage because i was dying nonstop. So i got some really good Evasion nodes and i went from dying all the time to being able to tank pretty well!

@StiFFso I highly recommend the ascendancy point for getting spirit based on your chest piece + the one that converts your evasion to armor. Then you can get the spirit skill Wind Dancer which improves your evasion even more which improves your armor. Im also going meditate to double my energy shield. I'm running lightning herald, ghost dancer and wind dancer because I have 120 spirit from the ascendancy point since my chest piece has 1300 evasion.

@@mediandirt Ohh yeah i did! Once i got the Defense nodes in the ascendancy tree i got super tanky, Especially if you have a crazy body armor with high Evasion! Got 165 spirit and use Combat Frenzy, Hoi, HoT and GD with all that spirit!

@@StiFFso I'll have to look into combat frenzy? I'm not sure what it does off the top of my head. I feel wind dancer is superior, no? Free tons of evasion? I'm full lightning build + power charges so I skip Hoi.
