I think the UV glasses are to protect your eyes from the UV blue light. Too much exposure to UV light will cause your eyes to develop cataracts (white film that make seeing hard, and require surgery to remove). Protect those eyes.

For everybody watching this because they consider a new thermostat, think about this first: A thermostat does absolutely NOTHING to your cooling capacity. You're still running the same system, with the same radiator, same water pump and same coolant. If your car is at a certain temp because that's what your cooling system can cool, then at most the thermostat will open a bit earlier, causing the last couple of degrees to go up a bit slower than before. It will however NOT give your engine cooler temps. For the engine to run cooler, you FIRST need to get a better radiator, that's the main component to improve your cooling. In the majority of cases, only once that is done should you consider a different termostat. As for the higher temps seen here. The thermostat shouldn't really influence this. The only explanation I can see is if the Mishimoto thermostat opens up less than the OEM one, causing less fluid circulation. That's would be a pretty poor result for the Mishimoto. By the way, you can test your new thermostat by simly putting it in a pan of water and heat it up. You will be able to see when and how much it opens up. You can test the new one and your old one side by side together, before you install the new one. 😉

The only way that they will sound good is if someone custom makes a crazy 6 to 1 header for it. Its just how they sound, same with vr6 volkswagen v6, but that sounds better still.
