I taste Valle Caliente chile infused Lager from San Luis Valley brewing Co. Technically it should be called Valle Picante. But what do you expect? It’s from Colorado.

Cool
you remind me of dick van dyke's brother.
Well said, Jay. Where I live, we acknowledge the First People of the land, the Duwamish and Muckleshoot tribes.
When you replace your cooktop, I think you'll really like using an induction burner. It provides instant heat, it's efficient, and is so very controllable. I have a small portable one in my RV and it works great.
How watts of solar power do you have?
Really awesome! Thanks for sharing!🙌
Wear a hat 😉
Here in Arizona we don't call it the Sun, we call it the Death-star.
your photo is the real sun, NASA photos are fake. the two pictures look nothing alike. NASA is a movie studio for Hollyweird. open your eyes my friend.
Your embedded videos don't show up here on YT, although they do appear on FB.
58 degrees and cloudy? You might as well be in Seattle, lol. Except we call this season The Big Dark. (I see that you're still drinking Allets Siotra. Enjoy!)
That's why I wouldn't last two weeks in Seattle.
Great video, how your batteries communicate with the inverter?
The batteries don't communicate with the inverter. I just monitor the batteries via a Raspberry Pi with Solar Assistant, that in turn feeds to Home Assistant.
@@taosjay thanks for your feedback, so batteries are doing good without comm?
@@samba2498 I've had the Batteries for four years and they are still reading 100% state of health from BMS tools and Solar Assistant.
Thanks for the weather report from the future! (2924) Hey, what stocks should I buy??
I'm back from the future. One word ... Raccoons.
"Life off grid" is a lot like life with an RV. It's all about resource management: power, water, food, waste, etc. At least you don't have to worry about "where am I going to sleep tonight?" lol
That’s for sure Barry. Van life without a van. We’ve got a berth here if you’re ever down this way.
Thanks Jay! Even the mundane is interesting when it's a lifestyle so different from our own. Just curious - for 'trash day' does your transfer station collect some things for recycling? Or does it all go to a landfill.
We can recycle corrugated cardboard, and aluminum. Unfortunately not glass and plastics
😂😂😂😂😂🤦♂️
Awesome!! Just bought the Colorado XTS 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Sub’d 🤙🏼
not too bad
I'm guessing it doesn't go well. let's see...
Aluminum oars suck .
there is a special material needed for this surface coat, not standard stucco... it's called surface bonding cement, then you should have it on a concrete or precast foundation with rebar up through the center according to code and then fill it with the right material (not sure if it's mortar/grout or concrete) but it should be filled with concrete and rebar and then it won't come down as easily if you do all this... but you need that QUICKWALL, not standard stucco. QUIKWALL® SURFACE BONDING CEMENT QUIKWALL® Surface Bonding Cement (No. 1230-1231) is an alkali resistant, fiberglass reinforced, portland cement based surface bonding cement used for construction of dry-stack (without mortar) cement block walls. Add color with QUIKRETE® Stucco & Mortar Color. Available in: 50 lb. bags - 56 per pallet Use For: Damp-proofing and strengthening block walls without mortar Rehabilitating existing walls with a water-resistant and decorative coating
Oars are to short, need 8 ft.
That's awesome!
Well least i know i can put mine through a little bit rougher water now
Hi..have u ever tipped over after 1 pontoon hits and goes over a rock?
Luckily, I haven't flipped the Pontoon boat. I have flipped in a raft.
Did the gram em come with yours?, I have one of these but the frame is a smaller diameter black painted steel tubing ,yours looks to be an aluminum frame
Actually it is just spray paint. I like the hammered silver look more than the black.
Ah thanks, it definitely looks better!
I hope this was a parody, LOL.
These boots float like a cork. They are very responsive. I did class 2 without any problem. Only problem was on of the oars got bent. If I did heavier water I would like better oars. But now it is just rowing around Utah lake. Nice video. Cheers.
Great ride man! ❤️✌️👍
Looks like you had an awesome time. I absolutely love my 9’ Colorado pontoon boat. I’ve always been careful with it and never taken it anywhere I shouldn’t or think I can handle myself, but every time I’ve come up on rapid waters it’s handled everything just fine. Love it
Please never throw a rope from a boat! Doesn’t work and is veeeeeery dangerous
Yes, I was reprimanded by the TL, and learned my lesson.
2.2kw price
Several sources for the panels, I would say the average price would be $0.80 a Watt.
You could use Velcro straps for a lot of your fastening needs
Can’t trust Velcro in whitewater .
What kind of oar rights are those?
Those are small Tom Grant oar rights from NRS.
Absolutely not any class three rapids here! Class 1 and lower Class 2 water but definitely not any class 3 stuff
Great adventure!😊
I just bought the xts. They are awesome.
Nice setup. Have you taken it down whitewater, what class, and how did it do? What are parts availability like? There is one for sale near me. Thanks and row safe.
Check out this video of the actual river trip: ruclips.net/video/myc-TKYfeDQ/видео.html
That’s a lot of shit.
Hello Sir, I've just purchased 2 of the same 24V 200Ah EG4 batteries to change out all my Nickel batteries. Before converting over to the EG4s and powering down to unhook the pos/neg cables to the EG4s, do I need to set my Conext SW 4024 in Standby mode? Is there anything specific I need to do before switching over to your batteries?
I would definitely power off the SW 4024 before changing the battery cables.
You can get full power from leg of the Schneider inverter.
Thanks Ck K, Since this video I have wired my home for 240V split phase,. Now I can run a 9,000 BTU Mini-split heat pump for heating.
Cool
I'm bout to pick one of these up for muskie fishing out here.in new Mexico
The Colorado falls ,that's nothing. Have you ever been to the Niagara falls?
I have this same pontoon and use it to float the rivers in south Idaho
Mini Solar (Winter) Tip: e.g. a Beuler and all other hungry electricity consumers can be continuously adjusted down to e.g. 300W with a 5000W dimmer (7EUR). I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Kettle 2.2KW at 150W runs 12 hours a day, so the water is always hot. The room is also nicely heated. 2.5KW washing machine runs in parallel with dimmed to 200...400W. Iron, dishwasher, oven, electric heater, coffee machine, all internal heaters are throttled with me. Videos about it on my channel ruclips.net/video/eC2olbCBhh0/видео.html The inverter stays cool, quiet and the MOSFETs remain intact because extreme current peaks no longer arrive at the inverter. Now every Mini PV Inverter is enough to sell large devices...
I have got 8 12 v 200 ah lithium batteries, can anyone please tell my how to correctly setup my context schneider 4048 inverter ? I will be charging my batteires at 14.20
Two strings of four batteries in series (make sure your Lithium Batts support series connection.)
Two questions. How is the Batt capacity determined? I have 8 12 v 200 AH Lithium batteries which will replace 8 12 v 200 Ah gel batteries. Whta is the voltage on this context 4048 , is it 24 or 48 volts?
Batt capacity is determined by Ohm's law W=V*A you have 8* 2400Wh giving you 19.2 Kwh overall. My inverter is the Conext SW 2524 basically 2500W continuous from a 24V system.
