Wait... So inside the circle, there's a 40% chance of rain, but then it never rains because the weather never changes, so then isn't it a 0% chance of rain? 🤣
There are six letters in Blaine…lol
"I've been coming up to this landing site every day for 2 years.... to measure it." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Still more credible than CNN or Fox News.
people need to remember that there is no script in these movies....now watch it again.
What are the odds of something having a 40% chance of happening everyday NEVER happening ?
The first guy got that same mouth as Jerry Seinfeld
There's always a 40% chance of rain, even when it's actively raining.
Tobias
Always
Such a great cameo 😂 Movie is perfect as is, but I kinda wish they had put David Cross’s character in the play.
There's something about the characters David Cross plays that are just the best. He's really a one of a kind actor and idk why
I think it's because he's funny.
I find it funny that the UFO expert was killed by an alien in the morgue in Men in Black. He should have known better.
Nah he wasn't killed, he showed up in the second movie and got denuralized by J
I must have watched WFG a dozen times before I caught that the short tape measure was why the diameter changed, or that Blaine isnt five letters long. Christopher Guest is the master of the undersold joke, which makes it even more funny, and makes his mocks comedy makes you want to pay particularly close attention. I know fellow fans that think BIS is the height of his films, but WFG will always be number one for me. When I was 8 I was in a community production of a musical play that celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the hick city I live in (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan) called "Year of the Moose" that started in homesteader times right to present day (mid-80s). I got serious deja vu watching WFG the first time, from the overly self-important writer-director, who, yes, insisted in playing the lead in each scene though he couldn't act at all (though we were all terrible actors). And the music was bizarre, the singing OK but horrible cheesy songs, even worse direction and dialogue, etc. I'm guessing tens of thousands of places have had the same dreadful experience that made WFG just that much better becsuse so many folks have lived through a similar shit-show.
I'm okay with saying Waiting for Guffman is his crowning achievement:) Also, your community theatre production sounds exciting/horrifying!
@@nayr497 Waiting For Guffman is my favorite movie...every line in this movie is classic. It amazes me how many people have never heard of it.
@@davidheathmiller It's may favorite movie as well, and I've always felt the same way. It disappoints me that no one has seen it!
It’s my very favorite as well. I often think of the single chicken wing on the grill.
@@carolmelancon lololol, you do realize now I have to watch it again tonight as you made me realize some of the non verbal subtext that just MAKES the movie sooo funny, just like that poor pathetic single chicken wing, lololol, Parker Posey's character was my favourite by far, that gum smacking interview of her deep thought on type of ice cream cones, lolo
Potluck on the UFO!
I got probed. They probed me.
No, you were drunk again with your boyfriend...
And then they served me mashed potatoes
Whenever/Wherever David Cross shows up a laugh fest is not far behind. And/or chaos of the best kind.
I posted a link to this vid in comparison to the post-election rationale of a certain party at Jimmy Kimmel's site and David Cross liked my tweet... a small thing in the grand scheme, but it sure made my day.
Yes! He wrings the comedy out of every part - he's so great in Ghost World too, as Seymour's creepy friend.
It always 67 degrees with a 40% chance of rain always, it dose not make any sense.
It is always 67 degrees with a 40% chance of rain always
He must have a portable weather forecasting system that he drags out there every day. Those supercomputers can get pretty bulky.
Man this is comedy gold
Aha
Connection to Six Days In Roswell?
The guy who won the 2014 Tour de France is named Nibali...just sayin.
Lmfao
"...which brings me back to the number five." (...I mean six)
LOL, I love that he's been coming out to the landing spot for two years with a tape measure not long enough to measure the circle. I wish David Cross' character was in more of the movie than just this quick little 30 second clip.
Never noticed the tape thing before 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Maybe he just grabbed the wrong tape measure before he left the house that morning.
The aliens got him.
He's been going to the landing site everyday for 2 years lmao
... douche chill
More possibly he isn't.
There are actually 6 letters in the word "Blaine." Which makes this all the more funny.
This is my absolute favorite movie. Christopher Guest's by farrrrrr!
One of the funniest/best movies ever made
I really need to use "bullroar" more in conversation.
I'm 11 years late to the party. Bullroar!!
The subtlety of the diameter/circumference/radius comment compounded with the visual (his tape measure's too short to measure the diameter)--always the funniest part of this bit to me.
I knew that Dr. Tobias Funke was an a actor, a therapist, an analyst, (an analrapist if you will) but I had no idea he was a UFO expert
There’s only one other person who can do that, and that’s Barbra Streisand.
way way . .. way. . far away. . hahahahah
"that's BULLROAR!"... i love how he kind of stops himself like wondering if he should even curse that much
LMAOOO YES
i forgot he was in this...David Cross
