I think it's pretty sad that if this happens to someone else in the future the footage will never be there. I get why people may say it's not right to show it but I feel like as a F1 driver you would want your final moments to be recorded. You were doing your best going all out it's not really right to just say they crashed and died but that's it no footage of it

He was pushing that car way too hard through the corner. I drive the Lotus 98T as my car in Assetto Corsa and I know not to push it that hard. If you feel the car start to wiggle or lock in a corner you have to let off the throttle and feather the brakes or it can go very bad. The car can fly through normal corners and accelerate and decelerate crazy fast so it can be easy to let it get the best of you. Sometimes I don't know the track and I go too fast through a blind corner and end up sliding off of a cliff but at least there is a reset option in a video game.

The first news I heard of Senna's death is from another racing legend, who would die some 7 years later, Dale Earnhardt Sr... I recorded the Imola race on vhs and was going to watch it later that night. I was watching Nascar prerace talk, that same day as Imola,and Earnhardt sent his condolences to the Senna family. My eyes about popped out of my head! RIP to both of these legends.

I only wrecked once at 160 kph, I was knocked out the moment my car started to roll. The sheer amount of G force knocked me unconscious, I woke upside down still strapped in. My left arm flung out and was caught by some trees, by some miracle it was still attached but it was stuck in a tangled mess of branches. I had another stroke of luck as a friend responded instantly and freed my arm, thus freeing me from the wreck. I got a helicopter ride and a titanium plate for for my troubles.
