Granaina a Granada
Просмотров 3121 день назад
Granaina is a Libre (free form) Palo which originates from the town of Granada. the Palo is supposed to invoke the beauty of the landscapes of the Sierra Nevada mountains that surround the town. the introduction was arranged by me, and the rest was taught to me by Jose Fernandez, who was born and raised, playing flamenco with his father in Granada.
Idilico (Vicente Amigo)
Просмотров 5821 день назад
Idilico is in a Palo called Bolero, which was pioneered by Vicente Amigo. it's in 4/4, like a ruba, but twice as slow so that the eighth notes are felt much stronger than when we play faster. it's a short but sweet arrangement taught to me by Luciano Ghosn

Mi Aire is a modern style Alegria, which is a joyous Palo in flamenco. written by my teacher, Eric Jeager. you can find him at Seattleflamenco.com and on his RUclips channel, Seattle Flamenco
taranta

taranta is a Libre style of flamenco that comes from a city where the andalucian Gitanos were forced to work the tin mines. the free form (taranta) is a form danced and sung for fun at home, and the rhythmic section (taranto) originated from work songs, which were used to coordinate strikes from the pickaxes.
Buleria

an arrangement of bulerias from my teacher, Eric Jeager. there's a mix of falsetas from tomatito, the Morón family, and other traditional material. it finishes out with a buleria in A major, called bulerias de Kai (spelling?), also could be called bulerias de Alegria.

Olé, very enjoyable solid playing. 👏🏻
Short but sweet
Nice and chill, I like it 👌🏻
Thanks man, I'm trying to go back this year, so maybe we'll have some new ones soon. Oh, also! I just found a long lost USB drive from the same Christmas night at my other Grandparent's house. The same night that I played the piano peice on my channel

What is that big leafy stuff?
I had no idea you were on RUclips! That's called skunk cabbage. It grows in a ball, just like cabbage, then opens a very big single yellow flower that smells like skunk. We can smell it 20 feet away!
Спасибо. Грандиозная работа выложить это в нотах. Очень интересно.
Вы знаете чьё это произведение? Нет аудио

No but when I record in selfie mode it flips the camera lol. Thank you, it's pretty tough. A work in progress for sure
You're on fire man!
Quick! Put me out! 😂
Ummmm....very good. It's a river. You win a cookie.
It's the river our property line connects to. It's down a steep bank and overgrown mostly with blackberries. We've lived here for 3 years and finally have cleaned up the top enough to trailblaze down to it. Very exciting for us ^_^ I didn't realize how beautiful this part of our yard is and it just motivates me to keep clearing out the 10+ years of blackberries and make this an accessible part of our living space. Hopefully guitar by the river is in the cards next year ;)
Buen trabajo
Gracias por este gran regalo. Desde Saltillo, México.
It was a great pleasure to study this :)
Digo del gastor.
Thank you! I did not know he was playing someone else's buleria! Old masters have such a wonderful way of playing flamenco.

Nice even playing! Love this peace. I remember listening to this nonstop and I still find it fresh.
Each new falseta is more fun to play than the last lol
Welcome back man! Love it!
Moraito ftw! OLÉ Thx for sharing
Very nice, beautiful material. I see a lot of potential. If you practice on the rhythm/compas more with a metronome I'm sure you could become great! Good job!
Nicely done, a lot of great ideas. Thanks for sharing!
Dude! Ole! This is a beautiful arrangement. It's both traditional and modern.
Thanks man! It's my favourite to play, but the more bulerias I learn idk haha

I'm glad you like it! This is my own composition. I want to add more before I call it finished though.
Love open tunings! So fun and that was beautiful!!
Hey thanks so much Thom! On the recording, there's this neat sitar-like buzzing going on and it was really fun capturing some of that. Thanks!
I like it, thanks for sharing Chris
Hey thanks Walid, I like those rock instrumentals
Very cool, I think there were a bunch of other hawks trying to chase that hawk on the top of that one tree, but they fled at your whistles.
Hey thanks for the comment! Two crows actually hatched a chick in our backyard, which we've made friends with. "Junior" tried to chase away the hawk sitting in his trees biy his parents came by and took him away. Gotta learn to stay away from birds of prey ;]
You don't have to stay away from birds of prey in order to appreciate them! However, the crows certainly do because they'll make a meal out of them. Don't feel bad because in my OWN backyard a crow can do the same thing with smaller nestlings. As a matter of fact, a few years back, a European Starling chick was taken away by a crow, but the parents came over and attacked the crows, but the crow just kept flying off. Another crow almost took the 2nd chick, but the parents defended its only baby that was left. The baby fell on the grass, and then my grandma came over and grabbed it and brought it in the house to save it. I actually have videos of me trying but failing to rescue that starling right here on this channel. My grandma should have just left the starling right there, but then some cats might have found it instead of the crow finding it. Cats never seem to eat the birds they catch, they only seem to play with it. Crows actually eat what they catch. So yeah, ANY bird could steal a nestling. Even House Sparrows steal bluebird eggs and drop them on the ground. They don't eat them though.
Oh wow that's really neat! I was inspired to befriend the crow parents and chick with peanuts after watching chanuk's channel. This bird is much better friends with this man who saved his life. Even sits on his leg.
Umm, you misspelled the name of that famous crow. His name is actually "Canuck". He was rescued due to an injured leg, then later released. Ever since then, he's been curious of all people, and he's collected some items from people as well. I was interested in crows and ravens before I was into Red Tailed hawks! A few years ago, I used to feed the crows in my own backyard, which was mostly chicken wings, pizza, pasta, and other leftovers from my fridge. I would always gave them popcorn and reeses pieces every SINGLE day! I'd give them cupcakes also. Yep, I gave the crows so much variety. My grandma, whom I am living with, fed the crows peanuts. However, none of these crows got used to us. I even tried sitting still on the grass for hours. If I sat on the sidewalk 50 feet from the food pile, only European Starlings and House Sparrows ate the food. I sat there until I ran out of batteries on the camera that I was filming the birds with. Then afterwards I collected the food and put it all back in the fridge. The crows came AFTER I took the food away and went inside. They would just peck at whatever teeny tiny scraps were left. Other times, I'd set the food out and immediately go inside and the crows would be the first to eat from my food pile. But then the European Starlings and House Sparrows would be too scared of the crows to come down and eat my food. By the way, I have all these videos on my jviewer02020203 RUclips channel. The crows where I live are really, really shy of people. Of course, the hawks are even more shy than that. I only saw one Red Tailed hawk near my house in the past 4 years. My grandma says she's seen a Cooper's hawk eating a sparrow or starling on the sidewalk right near her front door once, but that's it as far as hawks go. As soon as my grandma approached the front door, it flew off with the bird still in its talons. I'm still looking for hawks, but right now, I'm too busy working long 50+ hours at Amazon so I'll have to postpone my findings until January.
Good job Chris 👌
Thanks Bro!
