He came to norway intially on skilled visa, then it converted to PR. Now the waiting time for skilled visa is 4 months, does having PR affect this waiting time ?? See if you are in Norway, I would suggest a proper school like I joined Alfaskolen in Norway. For very basic words you can start with Duo Lingo App. And then there are many online courses too from Lingu etc.

Hello if your husband has a work permit yes he can apply family immigration visa for you. It takes diff time from case to case. But timeline will be mentioned in UDI guidelines

Experience is good and completely different from air plane as this is plane is very small so landing and take off is a more turbulent. As they fly much lower than a normal aeroplane the views are spectacular and more amazing 😍. To try once the experience was overall good.

Hello so are you saying the jobs you apply has a requirement of Norwegian? As it might be a case that some companies even have a pre-requisite of Norwegian for IT jobs as well. Also try contacting some consulting firms who can help with IT placements in Norway.

Hi, Most of the companies want norweigian..in my case my resume getting rejected.. even when applying for english companies, resume not getting selected.. i moved to oslo in Janurary this year.. not sure where's the problem :(

As you said you are already in Oslo so do you have a valid work visa as in some cases not having that is also a reason for rejection as some companies do not want to sponsor you.

Hello, I would not be able to comment on a specific job in a cheese factory as it depends on the openings also norwegian language might be required for the same. Yes norway provides work visa to non-EU citizens provided you have a job here.

Hello Faheem, For most of the finance & accounting jobs here you might also need norwegian language skills this is what I have observed. But there are some international companies too but you will have try a lot harder for such jobs. Thanks.

Hello, I can tell you that from my experience, I had to get the UDI approval first by submitting all the documents and then in the end I submitted my passport to VFS. The process steps will be clear on UDI.NO. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response Mehak. I've applied for family immigration along with my son on 2nd April. I've submitted our passports as it was mentioned in UDI that in case I need the passport during this waiting period then I need to inform VFS, so I didn't need and submitted. I hope we receive an answer soon as we have taken TC from the school here and my son needs to be in Norway by mid August to start school there. A lot of tension now.

@@savitabhatt4116 when did you apply? The DUF number is different for me and my son, but the application was collected and sent together in one file from VFS. I receive both application emails also at the same time.
