here's what's crazy and infuriating: Powertec sells a coupler labeled/sold as a 2.5" coupler, that actually has an i.d. of 2.5 inches!! imagine that. at the least, charlotte pipe has a severe problem w/ accurate descriptions of their goods. if i buy a 2.5 coupler from powertec, then see a charlotte 2.5 for 1/2 the price, how/why on earth would i think the charlotte piece would be a diff i.d., when it has THE SAME DESCRIPTIVE INCH LABEL ? am i crazy, or did words and product descriptions become meaningless and useless entirely in online commerce, and commerce in general? internet was supposed to make things easier, not dumber.......

wow. just....wow. a rep from charlotte tried to tell me today on the phone that their 2.5" couplers should be expected to be 2.75" i.d. . so your labeling isn't there to reflect the actual measurement, but the pipe measurement category it fits? THEN YOU SHOULD LABEL THE FUCKING THING APPROPRIATELY, ASSHAT-AS A 2.75" I.D. COUPLING FOR PVC 2.5" PIPES THAT ARE 2.75 O.D.. hence the wait for a lawyer callback :)

after mulling things over, and still not getting a refund, think i might be suing rons home and hardware, and charlotte pipe and foundry.....pity-would have rather just gotten the refund.

as soon as i took out the 1st piece i could tell these weren't 2.5" couplers. and i wear trifocals! charlotte pipe and rons hardware both couldn't wouldn't..... pathetic, this is.

Looking at this all I think is...of course, what else would one do with this space....lovely.

the rubber plant was rooted in perlite, not vermiculite. with a little bit of pumice mixed in. soon i'll be dosing w/ some new fertilizer. which will be the first fertilizing since starting the room in early spring. i'm fairly certain it's the main cause of the addansonii's going so janky.we'll see :)

forgot to mention that the original philo, when i bought it, was just a tad bigger than the pup shown towards the end.

MOAR SHAKY CAM! ;-p. this should also give an idea of how bright those sansi puppies are. don't try looking directly into one-yer peepers will hurt.
