Hello… your work is lovely! I have just started embroidery and have realised the importance of fabric… I’m not sure I have that right yet. Could you please tell me what fabric you have used and also what is the best fabric for hand embroidery? Thanks much.
Hello Lakshmi - Thanks - Embroidery is therapeutic. I use cotton/polyester blend (looks like linen) or I use casement fabric for my embroidery. A stable fabric is easy to embroider - slippery fabric is a lil tough especially for beginners. Fabric choice also depends on what you want to do with the embroidery - cushion cover, dress material, babys clothes, etc
@@hazelembroiderydesigns Thanks so much for the prompt response… I have recently used casement and found that good compared to others I’d tried before, but I just wanted to be sure… am glad I wasn’t way off :) Will try the cotton polyester blend too… And you’re right, embroidery is therapeutic :)

How Sweet. Thank you. It is linen fabric. You can also use Casement or Fake Linen fabric (blended Cotton/polyester) good for this kind of embroidery.
