Disaster? And wiped it up? Just extra oil to chain. Cut a limb about 8 ft up a tree and as it fell, butt end went around tree and landed on my smaller Stihl. Shed absolutely zero tears. Long live Husky

I’ve been a stihl man my whole life but found a deal on a new to me 372 last year. I absolutely love the 372. It will out cut my 461 and I hand file all my chains

@@scottwilcox6741 Indeed - one would have assumed styrofoam inside to keep it steady but no - literally just box and saw inside with manual and wrench. Testament to 372 toughness- not a scratch!
Try the Husqvarna x cut chains they work pretty good
@@scottwilcox6741 I got a box and will use on next video! The Chinese one was not sharp, even after sharpening the metallurgy is inferior and it won’t hold its edge long. Thanks!

Thanks King - yes the Pickaroon is always useful! The one on top of this tree is oak, I think the bottom one is some kind of a poplar, I’m not sure. It is a soft wood.

I got a stihl weedeater and it had bad gas i thought it was the muffler or spark arrestor bought a new coil also but the problem was bad gas got it running and I think the grommet on tank was leaking air and it stopped gas from coming into the bubbler
@@damensutherland7081 Yes, 100% the gas makes all the difference and the oil / proportion of the mixture as well. I stick to premium gas (91) and Husqvarna XP oil. I changed the fuel lines etc earlier but that didn’t help in this case. Thanks! 🤙
I have a 2024 435, and that tool doesn't fit..that one you took out it should be a 4mm..

@ I have one though that has me VERY puzzled. When it’s on the workbench, its carb can be adjusted and everything appears to be working just fine. But once it’s out in the woods it won’t stay running more than 2-3 seconds. I’m using the exact same can of fuel at the workbench as I am in the woods. It’s done this whole routine with me twice and I’m just not sure how it’s possible but that’s what it’s doing
