Yeah it felt like the end of a sad movie didn't it? It was a privilege to play those last games with you. I hope TESL is eventually resurrected within another Elder Scrolls game....seems unlikely but we can dream.

It was a very special moment to mark TESL's last day, ending as we started with vampires v werewolves...I always called Night Talon Lord and Night Shadow "Kate's boys" in my head because they were so loyal in turning up for you when they needed to. Your Midnight Burials were a refreshing change from Alduin/Parth that got seen a lot on ladder. Was pretty alarmed to see you burial Cicero haha. Thank you for coming back to play after a break from TESL. Special memories x

You summed it up perfectly. The TESL community was special and I am doing what I can to encourage as many TESL players as possible into Eternal and MTGA so they can play there and reminisce. Exciting to find you can spectate friend matches in Eternal! And yes, I started playing as Cowardly Heroine - the idea being I was a female version of Shaggy in Scooby Doo...the scared one who would go into danger to protect their friends...kinda fitting I ended up in Friends clan, wasn't it?

I wish there had been more Spriggans and more tribal decks in general. Beastcaller certainly did well here - I like to think the card knew the game was ending so put on a good show 😃 I would have liked to see the Wild Spriggan you mention, it sounded a cool effect. Plus the Wolf cards needed more love as well. Thank you for being here:)

I love what you did with it, that was such a clever idea! I loved the skeletons and am glad my last ladder match featured them. I hope to play TESL in Sovngarde (I hope Night Dark Wolf launches it with that name, would be cool) once it is available...not sure how move will work in that but I think I will play move skeletons there and will try your idea. I was thinking of documenting learning to play it on my channel...might encourage others to give it a go once available.

Yes, I have recorded all the card art - standard and premium - in HD video.This includes Alt Art versions - sadly I don't have all the alt art as only started playing in 2020. It took a lot of time so I have a lot of editing to do because talking for that long I would get tired and stumble. But all the art will be up on my channel soon. In addition to the commentary I will do commentary free versions of the art - someone asked if I could store those in a Google doc area so people can access them. That is on my list to get to once the full card art series is up. For TESLs last couple of days I am filming as much game play as I can plus the hypnotic premiums and a light hearted TESL life advice video - things like Martin Septim saying "no man can deny his destiny." There will be plenty of TESL content for at least another month I think.

@ I can’t wait! Thank you so much for all you’re doing for this game. I might be able to get a team together (hopefully soon) to work on recreating this game either offline or private server. I’ll need as much data as possible once we start working on that. Your videos would certainly help a lot!

@@Odda.Omarion that's exciting! Keep me posted on how you get on. I will be working really hard to get stuff uploaded as soon as I can. A friend also played some matches with me so I could capture his alt arts as I lack some of them. There will be plenty of TESL content here for the next few weeks.

It has got worse in the last 2 seasons and is why I have felt conflicted about whether to try for legend. This season pretty much every day my first match is v invade and they get the ring. And then lots of alduin loop card abuse. Yes I can win but its a chore playing against such decks. I have always loved the thrill of fencing with an opponent and trying to outwit them. There have been some bright spots where I have seen people playing other decks but not often. November was a good ladder month for me...every mage deck I met was action mage not invade. There were people playing Manticora control mage as well. I think some in a moment of nostalgia played some of the decks popular in earlier TESL, then left again for good.

Yes I would say rage slay is one of the most powerful decks on ladder. The Ebonheart version can square up to Telvanni and invade pretty well. I've also matched up v Hlaalu slay and while less often seen these days, it was strong. If I were to make a true rage deck I think I would try it in Hlaalu as less often seen.

yes, it's good to explore other games. A lot of games seem to have balance issues don't they. I guess it's a case of finding one you enjoy and feel comfortable with.

Thank you! The card art series is a labour of love for me...I want the beauty of it preserved. I hope I get time to do some GIFs or shorts featuring some of the cards with their voicelines or sound effects....so much to do, so little time before TESL is gone.

@@BecomingBraveCariad Yep, it is. But long before there was a card named Wild Spriggan which created 2/3 snow fox creature. But it was replaced by a better Wild Beastcaller.

@@Baldricksturnip oooh that sounds a fun effect, sadly I did not discover TESL until 2020 so missed out on seeing it. I'm hoping once I get all the cart art filmed to try and do some Gifs of favourite cards with their sounds or any voice lines. I won't have time to do them all, but will include some spriggans.

I have only just finished the colour challenges so am still learning. I will probably start doing some Magic videos later in January.

I totally relate to how you feel. I love TESL and the thought of it not being here is upsetting. Have you seen Night Dark Wolf's video -"TESL in TableTop Simulator?" and yes, I would like to stay in touch. Several of us in the TESL community are trying out different games to see if we can find one the community agrees on.

Hello! Yes I plan to do Skyrim once TESL closes. I will also look at other Strategy card games. Several of my TESL friends are already Playing Magic the Gathering Arena so I will probably try that out. It's hard to think of anything being as stunning as TESL's card art though.
