Probably she was tired, from my own experience (I'm a male dancer) ballet takes a huge effort on the body despite dancing looks ethereal and Easy that's your job as a dancer to make It look as something effortless

It's the Russian style. My teacher studied there and that was how I was teached. Just tape, nothing else. Of course there was lots of blood everywhere. 😅
When I did pointe (I have stopped due to injure) I only wore a toe pad for my big toe meaning the others were exposed. And it was painful no matter toe pads or not! But definitely worse without them!
@@allisonarzola8350 you can check lots of Russian ballet dancers on Insta, no one do it like this. It's not a "Russian style", lol.

Haha. I'm a ballet dancer who has been dancing en pointe for 7 yrs ( dancing for 10. It generally takes 3 to 4 yrs before you're muscles are ready for pointe, after you've started ballet) and I have never thought of it sounding like that before. Quite accurate tho lol
@@christinejanis6552 I went on pointe after 6 months of dancing, approved by 3 different teachers. Is that weird?
