Hey y'all, I live in Georgia USA. I learned to pour paint from watching RUclips videos in November of 2021. I saw a video and fell in love.
I am just learning to do videos so please be patient and understanding. I'm working hard to learn everything. I promise you that my videos will get better.
I will be showing you how I do my Dutch pours, How I do the bloom technique and I'm learning to do resin art. Beaches and Geodes poured in resin. They are beautiful!! Hey maybe you can learn with me. Acrylic Pour Swipe Technique
Hey y’all, I hope that you like my painting. I’m going to do series of this design in different color combos. And I promise,I will be doing more Dutch pours. Thank you so much to everyone for your support. It means a lot.
Recipe that I used for this painting.
2 pts Infinity BySherwin Williams Base C Untinted houseaint W/ 1 pt Jo Sonja Varnish. Add a little Acrylic paint at a time until you get your desired tint.
For pigments I add a scoop of pigments to 1 tsp of josonja. Mix very gently and slowly. When all pigments have melted add the Housepaint/josonja. You want a consistency of warm honey
Base paint is color to go by Sherwin Williams in tantalizing teal mixed w/ calypso.

Hey hun, it’s best to take it off when it’s still a little wet.
I really like it a lot. I’ve got to say, Rhonda that I really do like the one with the marble rolling through it. Also, it adds a lot of character.. I wouldn’t paint over it. Someone’s gonna love it as much as I do if I had the money I’d probably get it but somebody is going to like that character.

Had to watch this one again because it was soooo pretty. I took a break from painting because i got so frustrated so now im going to try again. I have done the consistency test on cardboard and it seemed like the colors were the right thickness but it still didn't turn out right. What does effect does the iridesent colors have on a painting?

There were so many votes with the hummingbirds and so many votes without the hummingbirds. So I figured I’d do one of each. It dries perfectly. I’ll add a resin topcoat.You can see everything that I post if you’ll join my group

Oh hun you are just so sweet. Dee my resin doesn’t have any fumes. Just a very small odor. I do have a filter that I keep on. I got it at Lowe’s for 400.00. I got it because of debris in my resin topcoats. Best investment so far. No more dust. I’ll see if I can find the link for you. Love u girl

@@RondaThomison-vd9ek Is there a specific brand that you use? When I looked at them I didn't see anything that could be sprayed on and looked like there were two different items to put on. Thank you in advance for your response.
@@RondaThomison-vd9ek I sure am thankful for your reply. When I looked I didn't see anything to spray but two different bottles to use to put on. Do you have a special one that you enjoy more than the other? And do you just paint them over your painting?
Hun If you'll look at my earlier videos there's a resin video. The whole process. I use Krystal resin. Or KS resin. They are both great resins. But I'll warn you. Don't use resin on a white painting. The resin will yellow over time. I just cried my heart out because some beautiful paintings that were stored in my hot she shed were thrown in my fire pit. They were all with a white base and they turned yellow. I'm getting lots of advice on Facebook to use Liquitex varnish. I'll tell all about it in my next video. I'm giving my studio a makeover but I'll be ready to paint soon@@DonnaMiller-y5e
