I watch a lot of these vids and I have to say that I am very unimpressed by the defending, both by individuals and the overall team shape and structure. There were players in that team with Prem league (and with Chiesa, international) experience. There are other players that were seen as hot property that we acquired from other academies. So, there absolutely has to some scrutiny on the coaching they are getting, because it looks to me like a lot of pretty basic stuff has to be learnt and applied - we are routinely getting done over by teams I've never even heard of. WTF is Barry Lewtas doing ??? Looks to me like he is just part of the Anfield furniture, and got the job through the old boys network - we should go out and get the very best available - most youth coaches would jump at the chance of working at Liverpool.
