Nice capture! Cormorants don't have waterproof wings? (I read your comment) I did not know about it. We have cormorants, too, but I seldom take their videos. When I saw them, they were always flying in the sky. I took a video recently when they were on the river, so I will submit it in the near future. 🪶

Beautiful! A crow stole an egg. Mama (hen) was worried about where her egg went. So Mama hired a private detector. He looked for an egg through a helicopter, and he found it! 🐓🐣 I read your comments, Glen. You fed this egg to the crow. How nice you are. I am sure that this crow loves and trusts you very much. Looks like he is healthy and very happy. 💞
Yes I did Lily. I knew that a wild crow had never seen a hens egg before. So I placed an egg for it. It dived into it straight away. There is a family of crows on a supermarket carpark that I feed and they are becoming quite trusting of me. Thanks for the comment. 👍

We have goldfinches, too, but the color is more yellow. I did not know that European goldfinches are different from American goldfinches. It is nice that I can learn many things from you. I like crows, too. Nice capture! 🐦

The flamingo is at wetland centre Lily. It's called Martin Mere Wetland Centre and is 600 acres in area. There are kinds of birds there.

Oh, this is a very wonderful video. The chick is so happy. We are having a Labor day weekend. After that, it will be autumn very soon. I feel sad, because many birds (e.g. Canada geese, Pelicans, etc.) will leave for the south. 🦆🦢🦤🪶

It is a very wonderful capture, Glen. We have swallows, but I am not sure if we have house martins. Do they live in a culvert or just they played there? Their flying is so gorgeous.

Thanks for watching and commenting Helena 👍They are quite common here in North Manchester, they usually nest under house gutters when I have seen their nests. They constuct them bit by bit from beak loads of mud. This flock were in a semi rural area right next to a sewage treatment works. I got another two decent uploads of them after a bit of editing.
@@WildlifeUKNatureByGlenO Same here but even though we have thousands of trees they never go and cables ..they never go near .Under eaves and gutters and in-between ,none stop fliers .A most unusual sighting compared to arrive build mud nest and then on the wing what seems none stop to me .Nice sighting Glen 🙂

actually, they are not just being crazy or silly. they may just be calling out to another goose. they also communicate by head shaking and bobbing!

Hi Brenda, the green shrub is Laurel I think. The plant with red leaves, I had no idea, so I took a screenshot from the video. Then used a plant and flower identification app that I have on my phone. I zoomed in just on the red leaves. It came up with the answer "Japanese photinia". It isn't always 100% accurate but I think it's correct on this occasion. The app is free and is called "PlantNet".
