The Song about the Dnieper / Пісня про Дніпро / Песня о Днепре - Wartime Song (Accordion only)
Composed by Mark Fradkin, 1941.
The Dnieper river is one of Europe's major rivers, rising in Russia and flowing through Belarus and Ukraine into the Black Sea.
The river was witness to many battles during WW2 until a major military campaign - the Battle of the Dnieper - drove the Germans back one last time in 1943.
Sadly, it sees battles raging once more...

Yablochko performed on an accordion. Yablochko was a song adapted by almost all sides of the Civil War, but remained popular in the age of the Soviet Union with its text. If you want more uploads/like this video, please consider sending me a dollar or two: paypal.me/Gvardiya Спасибo!

Finnish marching song on the accordion Sheet music: www.mediafire.com/file/gyqbl5n2r0wyem2/Vapaussoturin Valloituslaulu - .pdf
My ear is enjoyed
This is originally an anarchist song from the black army of Nestor Makhno in southeastern Ukraine
Yablochko isn`t "russian" and not used by bolsheviks. Yablochko is a theme song by Makhnov`s anarchists, which was stolen by the Bolsheviks
Yablachko was a Russian imperial sailor song.
@@ov2380 No! Yablocko isn`t russian imperial sailor song. This song appeared during the revolution 1917-1922, and then was called "Soviet-sea dance Yablochko". Yablochko is a theme song by Makhnov`s anarchists, which was stolen by the Bolsheviks
@@ТАМА-ь6е Even if it wasn’t an imperial song, the name itself contradicts you. “*Soviet*-sea dance”. Makhnovists never had access to a flotilla nor did they refer to themselves as Soviets or had established soviets in the territory. Also, Free Territory was a petty-bourgeois peasant rebellion, it’s reactionary to be praising something like that in the context of the October revolution
@@ov2380 "Sea dance Yablochko" is just a name and it has nothing to do with the fleet. And I'll repeat again, this song was stolen by the Soviets from the anarchists
Don't mind this other guy upset about a war anarchists lost a century ago, you are right, the song started out as a sailor song in the imperial navy and in the subsequent conflicts every faction made it's own version
B"H/, But did they KNOW?! ruclips.net/video/lkkiAIz66nA/видео.html&ab_channel=EN3RGY
Эх ,яблочко. Куды котишься .в губчека попадешь не воротишься ...подтекст этот , раз на Вкраине возрождение махновщины.
(Accordian Only) more like left ear only...
how ironic. my left headset only works
<
Many thanks for the notes! May you live ever healthy!
Alt-Left!
Fitting that the left ear is only able to gear this masterpiece!
why does this song only have audio for one ear
It seems my right ear is now deaf
The song is not originally communist, it was a dancing song of the Russian imperial sailors. It used to be a folk song before it was used by the bolsheviks.
if it was for the sailors that explains why the bolsheviks adopted it

With all the left ear comments, that tells me my earbuds are in the wrong ear.
when the Ukrainians feed the fish
When Ukrainian Anarchists and Russian Communists overthrow pitiful Nazi Oligarchs
What type of accordian is this
Sounds like garmon/garmoshka to me
This is the sound of the RKKA annihilating kolchak
And storming Berlin 😁
When all the comments say left ear yet the black army used this song every anti communist
This song is not exclusive to any one group, it is a folk song adjusted for politics during civil war. Also Black army was largely leftist anarchists (though many fascists romanticise it for some reason) but were anti-Bolshevik due to them being traitors. If you need evidence that the Black army were communists just read what Makhno wrote while he was in France...
@@deer4927 Alright, so it's just a revolutionary song or..?
@@rajathapa87 It was used by atleast the reds and blacks, but no, it was originally an apolitical song that was just adapted for many purposes. Not specifically a revolutionary song. It is also associated with sailors often.
@@deer4927 Ah, I see, Thank you!
@@rajathapa87 Thank you for being curious!

Simo Häyhä!!!
Nice job! Can you post the sheet music?
👌
Thanks from Russia
It's so Communist, only the Left ear gets to listen. The right ear is a class traitor.
@Irish Republican Army same
Ahaha
Яблочко- танец русских революционно настроенных матросов
Яблочко - частушка Махновских анархистов во времена революции 1917-1922 годов, которая была украдена большевиками.
sounds great. only in the left speaker :/
