I think this may have been easier to see if you used a different colored yarn as the lifeline

This is a problem if you have markers. The lifeline is trapped, unless I am missing something.

Thank you! I have interchangeable needles and they advertise it as having a lifeline hole but they never tell you how to use it. :D

It is nice to see three different methods to lifeline. I always have wondered what that extra hole is on the needle tips of interchangeable needles. Suggest using a life thread different in color from your work. Thanks for your time to present this video.

but it is a big deal, to me, at least, when my stitch markers get trapped in the lifeline. i imagine that's why there are split stitch markers, right? so they can be removed?

Hollis Evon Ramsey I just leave them if they end up on the life line. When you pull it out, the markers fall out.

Any thin yard will do. My favorite is light crochet yarn.

Thanks for sharing! My Hiya Sharps have a lifeline hole, but I wasn't sure how to do it. What needles are those that you are using?

Thank you. I was confused about when to add it and on which needle. This helps a lot!
