Reality is on a piece that size you could use fiberglass, and it wouldn't have to weigh much more. Carbon is great for stiffness, but on a thin sheet like that even playing with the hardest resin would help, or you could make the last inside layer some glass.

Well from my experience it has a soap stone mark . Looks like someone was planing to make 2- 45s out of that 90 . It is really hard to get them confused but if you really don’t know look in your blue book or fitting apps . These have pictures and measurements
You put your name on the part of the weld you made so they know who should do a grind out if repair is needed three bad welds and your fired xray shows if the fault is in root cap or fill
Neither scale is "inferior" to the other. If you know how to convert (which are all written in handbooks everywhere) then it doesnt matter. Though when youre talking about the very big or very small, metric tends to be more universal. It is also the SI unit.
In reality, the comparison from imperial to metric is more like comparing Nokia to BlackBerry. Yeah, one is more universal, but both do their jobs perfectly and depending on use case one is better than the other. Metric is only standard because it's based around itself, so it's easy to convert which simplifies math.
Absolutely correct. Great vids my man
Thanks for the tip big dawg
That fit doesn't look square...
Wait a minute, that pancake has an auto lens in it.

Great advice for the young welders, as an API inspector. It's great to see veteran welders teaching the new guys coming up. Keep up the good work.

Imperial being an older system seems more like inferior to metric…or not?! Like Nokia to iPhone

@@BrotalityBut is there any advantage to imperial?
@@kasperbechgeorgsen1928 none. They fairly recently figured out how long 1 foot is. So nothing good about it LOL
