RH Adhesives makes special glues for special purposes.
You won’t find our products in most kitchen drawers as they’re made for unique industry applications and specific material needs. We specialized in shoe and orthotic cements after World War II, expanded to vinyl cement in the mid-70s and serve a wide variety of industries and professions today. We began as a small family-owned business and we continue that way today.
Our adhesives have been used on sites as diverse as military bases and large-scale construction venues, as well as in theme parks and sporting venues. Extreme temperature resistance means our bonding capabilities have been trusted far and wide - in making repairs on the Alaskan pipeline to adhering patches on inflatable kayaks in Fiji. If I need to remove an HH-66 glued patch is my best bet to use MEK?
This makes me incredibly nervous. I am about to us HH-66 to attach the rear of my Corvette C4 Convertable top. The online product description where I've orderd a can, suggests that it can be used on metal. One long seam, bonding the vinyl top to the metal frame is exactly what I need. Another forum (Alpha Romeo) says it won't work. I'm stumped here as the job I have done otherwise looks fantastic.

Hi! I have a vinyl convertible car top that has holes needing repair. It is rather old and will likely need to be replaced in the future, but for now I’m hoping just to limit water / wind intrusion and keep the holes from growing larger. Based on your other video, it is reinforced, but I don’t know the weight. However I’m going to guess that the marine application is probably the closest equivalent? Thanks 👍🏽
Best vinyl adhesive by far. Great to use on certain soft vinyl coolers whose top peals due to heat activated glue being used. Made the repair and now it’s better than new.

But i have 2 polyethilene or nylon tarps. and i am looking for how to join them in order for me to use them as one big tarp. i already used tarp tape to combine them but they disassembled when they were spreaded and pulled by poles . and you tell not to use HH66 for polyethilene or nylon tarps. would you advise me of anything to do for joining 2 tarps?
