Alcaraz has only been beaten once in best of 5 (Berrettini) and that was when he was 18. His record is 12 - 1. Carlos is the best player on tour.
Top stuff
Vacherot is pronounced Va-shuh-roh btw 🤣 Also, LOVE the Rinderknech choke artist description Manny! LOL
Manny nailed the pronunciation later on. All good.
Hahaha i have no other way of describing Rinderknech other than being a complete choke artist. I knew betting him -6.5 gms vs a guy in Walton who has barely played on clay was the correct play, but he tried HARD to choke that.
Thanks for listening and we appreciate the comments!
@@gamebetmatch123 and now we get to fade him!
@@gamebetmatch123 of course! In a world of subpar tennis content, gotta support two of the good guys!!
Keep in mind those thank you tweets are likely his social media manager or PR team for big players like Rune.
OMG Brad said it in the video soon as I hit send hahaha.
Piranha providing context to the stupid underdog -16% angle. Love that he controls for the prices. Blindly doing the underdog returns means numbers are going to include all those top-10 players. As if people are blindly betting every dog and fading the Rafas and Djokovics of the world. Totally skewed stat. The dogs we realistically bet on are NOT bad plays. Further, we get to CHOOSE which dogs we bet. Excellent context and perspective Piranha!
"It's pretty clear it's good if you're betting on 100-200 dogs" LOL that's the nice way of saying "It's fine to bet on dogs if you have an IQ above 0 and be selective in which dogs you back." Hahaha aka the Jon Reid way of saying it. Piranha, you handle stupidity with far more grace than I do. I prefer the scorched earth rant and rave and call people stupid approach 🤣
Thanks for listening Jon! We were definitely appreciative of Piranha bringing that betting context to the show. We'd love to have you on again as well at some point!
"Most of the late movement is garbage" Yep. Tons of examples from RG qualies. Top of my head, Bellucci against Martineau goes from pick to +150 hours before the match (I missed the double down opportunity, but had huge money on the -107). Another is Misolic going from -130 to -115 in the final hours before his match against Ugo Blanchet. Forget the results of the match (wrong way to look at it), but even prior to those matches, there was NO reason to back two French hard courters against two clay court naturals when the prices were already respecting them too much. Tennis markets are wild sometimes.
WE BACK ON YT LFG!
Cold read on the popyrin match yesterday. Keep up the good work kind sirs
The Grigor match. 2nd set over 9.5 _-since the rain break think probably will get there...
Medieval might show up straight out the bed from drinking vodka. We've seen Med has lost 1st sets double faulting..
Great call on this. I usually expect Med to clown around for 2 hrs but find his way through. Was not the case today..

Hi ALl, Timestamps! Hour 1 - Intro & Recap of last week's tournaments - Dubai, Santiago, Acapulco Hour 2 - Indians Wells Draw Talk & Outright Talk Hour 3 - Individual Indian Wells Match Talk
why dont you guys do follow up videos for during the tournaments, shorter obviously but would be awesome! just found u guys, clearly know what you guys are talking about
Hey Edwin thanks for the comment! You’ll see that for many weeks we will do multiple pods per week. When there are tournaments on multiple continents it just gets really tough because no matter time we pod there will only be a few klbetitbg lines out. More fun for watching but tougher for podcasting
Shapo doesn't need WCs guys. His ranking drop was due to injury, which means he'll get to use PR. Schwartzman's drop was due to poor play, so yes, he needs WCs.
Shapo is on the AO entry list. Enters with a PR of 27.
That is true. I still think Schwartzman might have a better year as a whole given he did play better at the end of 2023 and Shapo has shown no signs of improving his tactics/discipline.
One more note: +130 one side and -110 on the other would bankrupt books 😉
Haha so true. We were coming out with these hypothetical lines on the spot so we were not thinking about the books’ balance sheets 😅🤣
No, the 96 player fields don't come to Cincinnati and Canada until 2025 for the Masters.
Thank god. One more year of getting a few more one week masters!
What is are your thoughts for the Laver Cup?
Ooh sorry I just saw this. If we end up doing a pod late tonight, I will certainly comment on it. I like Team World in what is a pick'em. I think they should get most of the crowd support and have the slightly deeper roster. Also these indoor conditions favor Fritz/Paul/Tiafoe a little bit more than Ruud/Rublev/Hurkacz. As a team, they have a little more experience playing with each other in doubles (Shelton/Tiafoe will certainly be a team on Saturday or Sunday as I believe they partnered in Cincinnati). It should be very tight heading into Sunday though, which should make for a fun weekend (although Brad can't get excited about it). Manny, who's commenting, absolutely loves it and is currently in Vancouver. As far as the individual matches on Friday, I'm on Shelton-Fils over 20.5 games (definitely see closely contested sets in fairly quick indoor conditions with two guys with big aggressive games) and Monfils ML (pure fade on FAA and doesn't matter if its at home given his absolutely pathetic form). But, my absolute favorite bet of the day is Cerundolo-Fokina 3 sets but I am still waiting desperately for a line. I saw +165 initially on Bovada but it's not available anymore for some reason. I'd be extremely surprised if that doesn't go to a 10 point deciding tiebreak with how many ups and downs those guys have within matches.
Absolute love ur knowledge of the sport and players.. keep it going
Thanks! Much appreciated that you took the time to listen to us!
1st time here and already liking what I get to hear!!! Only suggestion going forward will be short segments daily or once in 48hrs which will include Round match previews with any official bets you want to stake on.
Thanks for listening! We very much appreciate the feedback as well! I think that's a great suggestion! As of now, when we don't do a pod, we post our official bets on our twitter handle @gamebetmatch123 and we'll occasionally do a longer write-up if we have time. If we don't have time, we post short paragraphs with our logic on twitter (given the crappy character limit).
Wish you guys would take the time and add time stamps.
Sorry, did it for previous episodes but we recorded this super late + had work early today so didn’t have time. Will make a better effort to do it going forward. Thanks for listening!
Your audio is so Bad, I simply turned you off after a few minutes. Couldn't even understand you guys.
Hey how did you your units work ? is it 1 unit - $10?
Units are private and personal, so you can determine how ever much you want your unit size to win. Everyone has a different bank roll, but thats not for the world to know lol.
one shouting others talking just giving feedback
yeah but one voice is much louder than other two, like when the adds come on,ye gota turn it down
Thanks for the feedback. Will definitely make sure we adjust going forward.
Love your analysis
Thanks! Much appreciated!
DF Solutions on twitter invited us to his discord where we chat tennis and talk about our bets
what discord 👀
thanks guys although a few timestamps would be good with such a long stream :)
Thanks for the feedback and thanks so much for listening!. Finished recording this at 3 AM so we were exhausted, but we'll make sure we do a better job of that going forward.
bet rivers guys took Korda on 40/1 (i think) not 28/1 plus it's each way means you cash 20/1 if he gets to the finals and 40/1 if he wins it
At 40/1, a great play. But 28/1 not good enough granted he’s coming off an injury (although he looked pretty good today). At the time we did our podcast, i guess some hard money came in on the Korda outright and the price went down. Also bovada may have had a worse line on that which stresses the importance of line shopping. We just use Bovada as its easy to display on air.
Thanks for listening btw and we appreciate the comment!
Forgot to add, the each way makes it even better at 40/1. At 28/1 EV, you'd get 14/1 if he makes the final, which is not good enough granted he's in probably the tougher half with Alcaraz
Haha too many physicality issues. Pulling out of Barcelona, skipping Madrid, and losing from a set up vs Cerundolo is pretty lame fashion in his home country does not spell good things for Sinner come Roland Garros. Yes, he plays Alcaraz extremely tough which is great, but he needs to play the rest of the tour tough as well….
Sinner out of the top-10 is a SPICY take!
Promo-SM
i just heard my name mentioned! 🤣 glad you guys got the joke, not everyone gets it 😝
love your work guys! and love discussing tennis with y'all on twitter. cheers for the content 🤝
Yep, revenue for 2 slams would give the USTA a huge advantage. Plus time zone considerations. Keep in mind it's international and pacific time is tough for most big tennis timezones. As for the slams, yeah all major cities (even Melbourne is like 6 million ppl?)
Also agree with Brad that Shelton should be +3 not +4.
He certainly covered the +3! Great match. Shelton certainly has some holes he needs to improve but both Brad and I love his upside and swagger on the court.
I agree with Manny. Maybe it's not that he tends to play long matches in GENERAL, but he DEFINITELY plays far more long matches than he should given his talent and pricing in betting markets. He definitely underperforms more than other top guns imo.
He underperforms but is such a mental and physical beast that he still finds a way thru the matches usually - which makes him the best teenager since Rafa. Yesterday was really good vs Kokkinakis. Maybe slow hard is actually better for his game than clay. And the hamstring looked decent. Explosive and consistent. Griekspoor next which is a popcorn tennis match!
Im pumped to see the draw for next week’s challenger in Phoenix. The entry list was absolutely loaded.
Good to know! So many tournaments going on at once so often im not sure who’s next in line in case someone withdraws
Davis Cup week rankings episode (by surface)! I'd watch!
They don't take a qualifier. SE spots are accounted for in entry lists. If they're not used, then the next alternate on the entry list gets that spot. IW and Miami don't have them, because their qualies are Monday-Tuesday, not on the weekend conflicting with the end of the tournaments from the week prior like typical qualies would.
Okay after the fact analysis: That's a guy that I can give Novak trouble re: Griekspoor is something I totally agree with. Cannot believe how badly Novak beat him. Well, I can believe it, but you know what I mean haha (this is JRTweetsTennis/TidbitsTennis btw lol)
Yeah that was a shocking result, how easily Novak beat him. I thought +5.5 was a good bet. Novak just played a hell of a match. I don't regret the bet however, considering that Djokovic was somewhat vulnerable in this tournament. 7-6 in the 3rd vs. Machac, a tight 2 setter vs. Hurkacz, and Medvedev clearly outplayed him (but no shame in that granted that this is 2021 US Open Medvedev)
Diallo played Cleveland, not Koblenz gents.
Thanks for the feedback. We will definitely zoom in the spreadsheet on our next podcast.
