Cannock Chase MTB. Follow the Dog Black Sections
Просмотров 2 тыс.День назад
Over to the Dog side to finish all the Black sections at Cannock Chase. There's a few trails with Black and Red signs but this usually means just a single Black feature... Other than the 'Let Loose' trail which does have a separate Black Line with a boardwalk into a rock garden. Great to practice on Like and Subscribe!
Cannock's most technical section but is taking the Black Line worth it? ⏱

Back at Cannock Chase to finish the Monkey Trail. 2 Huge climbs but the downhill is definitely worth it... 'Snap it' trail has 2 challenging Black sections, super technical and great to push your limits on. But... is it worth it when against the clock? Like and Subscribe!

Back at Sandwell Valley to attempt the Finish jump... It has 2 options of a smaller table top or a steeper gap jump. I've cleared the table a few times so decided it was time to try the gap option. All the other tracks and features ticked off to so was a great day, and i can finally say Sandwell has been completed! Like and Subscribe

Stile Cop MTB. Are we anywhere near race pace? We have a time to beat!
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.2 месяца назад
Stile Cop is fairly local for us at Cannock Chase, and after watching race day there over the weekend we decided to give it a go for ourselves! We took the stopwatch and had a target of 1.33 to be in the mix with the racers. 3 runs, and with the time improving each time... hopefully we may be able to compete in future races for real Like and Subscribe!
Rogate Bike Park MTB. This place was so much steeper than we expected!!!

Following on from Windhill Bike Park and a little worse for wear after a night out in Chichester, we made it to Rogate Bike Park So much steeper than we imagined, this place is split in to 2 halves... Steep and technical lines to start, then across the fire road and in to the flowy jump lines at the bottom. This place has everything you need, and i cannot wait to come back! Like and Subscribe!

With so many videos of Windhill from some of the top riders... we decided to make the 4 hour journey to see what its all about. So much choice for all abilities, and some huge jumps and features if you're riding at that level. We made a weekend of it with Rogate the following day... Like and Subscribe

Final Run of the trip... Super Morzine lift was where it all started so only seems right to finish on there... This time its Cap Canaveral, a flowy jump line with nothing too technical but plenty of fun. A safe run to the bottom before the long journey home... Back on the Super Morzine uplift and over to Seraussaix A few warm up runs on the Blue line, and then i spotted Mr Oi Oi Ben Deakin vlogging before dropping in. I did my best to keep up but he was soon out of sight and long gone! Then on to a red trail (Wallibi) which has some fun and technical features which i'd built up to throughout the week, but was unfortunately closed on the day of filmin...
Le Pleney -- Super Black Morzine (Black)
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.3 месяца назад
Le Pleney is well known for its steep and technical runs. I warmed up on the Blue and Red trails, and then decided to give the Black run a go. I started with a few siting laps before hitting it a full speed, but ended up having a huge OTB! Managed to put a full run together in the end so was happy with that! Chicksands MTB Part1. Are these the best dual tracks in the UK?
Thanks for sharing the Black section of the Monkey, I have ridden past many times and not felt confident enough to go down, and also usually ride the monkey alone or with far less experienced riders who i would not expect to come with me. My view is now, if i can ride and survive ACDC at BPW, i can ride and survive this! I'm heading to the monkey later, may have a closer look, but again, i'd prefer to try with someone around who can be responsible for calling an ambulance!
😂😂😂😂
Think I need to add a basket to my bike. 🧺🥖
Have you done bardon hill in Leicestershire?
@@littledevilchris666 years ago mate when I first started riding, the stuff there was huge! Would definitely be up for going back now I'd forgotten all about it tbh, thanks for reminding me 👍
@@WoodyMTB87. I just noticed a lot of your vids are around not too far from where I’m from and I’m back that way in august for 3 weeks so was gunna take the noble steed for a shred if the wife lets me escape for a few hours, do there then Western park freeride on the way back home.
@@littledevilchris666 yes mate I'm at Tamworth so a few decent riding spots locally which is great. We've done western bike park too, it's a great place 👍
Impressive speed and air!
Cheers dude 👍
Evil slab is easy as I did yesterday on my first time Chain slapper is fast as the bridge is problem but rock garden is good
@@COOKIE_wcc_ nice one 💪 all good fun to ride
@@WoodyMTB87. definitely the black you do in the other video look mint but climb put off so maybe a camping weekend to explore as I’m 2.30hrs away but do have gisburn near and stainburn
@@COOKIE_wcc_ easily enough to do for a weekend, loads of off piste too
Love windhill, and that right side drop on payrise is no different to the middle one, it's just set further back
@@nightfiredj it looks massive! Hopefully one day I'll get back to give it a go 👍
I love this place, I need to go again
Definitely mate it's ace 👍
Fair play to you doung that gap on dubby skipper as its a nice size im yet to do that 1
Cheers pal... I didn't realise it was a gap until I was on the take off 😂 thought it was a table line
@@WoodyMTB87. the are a few gaps on that, need to go back at somepoint and get over my crash thats twice that place has had me now
@@WoodyMTB87. on the start of that line did you do the 1 where you turn off left thats also a wicked line
Yeh flowblarone? 🤕
@@WoodyMTB87. I think so just off the drop you peel left
I really dont know how i ended up crashing i know my face hit that mound of mud lol, and my nuckle still hurts to this day 😂😂
😂 you were very lucky I think, could of been so much worse Glad you're ok dude 💪
Probably caused by the pressure of woody following you with his cam.
Another good vid. Was planning on going there a few weeks ago (beggining of July) but website had it as closed so its deffo worth checking if open 🙄. Anyway, looks like you had a good day and glad the lad wasnt to badly hurt 👍
@@Thepoeticmtbr_The_poetic_mtbr thanks 👍 yeh maybe the construction was starting when we were there. He's ok now 😁
Great vid mate. I take it fly up is all back open now
@@gregjennings2544 I think so mate, was a lot of construction work still going on. I'm a few weeks behind from filming to posting the videos so just double check if you're planning to ride there 👍
Lots of these sections were in the British national cross country
Didn't know that 🤯
Pretty sure you missed a black section
Which one? Another guy noticed we missed the warewolf section if you mean that one? We got the footage but unfortunately it was to dark to use
wow not been over there for years, evil slab looks rubbish now without all the trees
@@sdolman79 a lot of Cannock has been felled unfortunately.. and a lot of off piste destroyed
Love those sneaky black features. I do think there should be more though
Definitely mate 👍
Isn't Warewolf drop not a black option anymore? A little after where you finished the video.
Good spot mate, yeh still there and we got it on camera... But was almost pitch black and couldn't use the footage
It was changed to lateral flow to mark the pandemic - LF being the type of test the public used to detect if they had covid or not.
@@TheUnutterable7 nice one thanks for the update 👍
Mr Welsby is a wizard on that black section.
Track stand champ 🏆
Off piste is where it’s at 🤫
@@trrize 100% 😉
Haven’t done those blacks in a while but I recall that they were actually surprisingly easy so long as you got the line choice right.
Good line choice and full commitment needed 👍
I thought I was getting somewhere then watch your vid and think feck, Im distinctively average 😉 you watch others doing bigger stuff than you and thing feck I'm average, they watch those over in squamish and think feck I'm average 😉 As long as we enjoy what we are doing its all good 👏👏👍💪. Im enjoying your vids 👍
@@Thepoeticmtbr_The_poetic_mtbr nice one mate. Couldn't agreed more, push your own limits and enjoy what you do 💪
Great video. I like the 'stop and look' aspect of the footage as that gives more perspective. I do videis myself and now never underestimate how knarly and steep some trails are. I'll get down to Cannock one day 😎👍
The black looks really hard..
I used to love riding stuff like this but one false move bye bye Rear mech
😂 I actually lost a rear mech and 3 spokes on this ride!
👀
It wasn't my fault! Rider error I'm putting this down to.
@@mdwelsby😂
It does look scary 😂 I think all black routes look scary.
Very scary, great fun tho
yup this year is just abysmal mate ive not really been out on the bike up to now im learning to jump and i got a great ramp i built and i have a little spot near to us but its just so wet i cant catch a break
@@michaelreynolds6543 I've never known it so bad, it seems to rain every day. And when it doesn't, the trails are still wet through from the day before! Hopefully some sunshine soon 🤞

Thanks for that. That's near the Tom Dick and Harry, is it not. I went there last week with Mark Page and three others. Only just managed the tom and friends. It's a great place. Hope to follow the black route soon. Lol😊
That's it mate, it's the split just before. If you can do the Tom Dick and Harry then you'll be ok on the black. Just spend some time having a look before dropping in 👍
@@WoodyMTB87. Thanks again. I go back when it's better weather. 😀👍
