First you drain the coolant through the pitcock on the bottom of the radiator. Then you use pliers to tighten and pull back the hose clamp before you take a screwdriver to it. Once removed you make sure both the thermostat housing and engine surface are clean, no metal on metal simple scouring pad will do. Check to make sure gasket is correct placed then re assemble and add new coolant. Or you can do it the pirata way like this dude. Never trust a man with a check engine light to help/tell you how to "work" on your ride.

I gotta 2006 1500 5.7 hemi I wanna get some gauges but idk what wires to connect them to? I wanna get 3 gauges for the speed, oil pressure, and prolly the gas. Should I get somethin else or?

Awesome. My uncle had his Daytona for the last 15 years and I just found a super clean one and bought mine. Was thinking 2/4 drop on srt10 stocks, alpharex heads and tails, and custom exhaust. Can’t decide (because I don’t have the knowledge) between long tube, short tube headers and what brand, or what muffler. But definitely wanna keep the same side exit so it looks stock

those blocks are so huge though, and I think it would be better to have angled blocks so the drive shaft aligns better

I'm using a Flowmaster Super 40 on my regular cab Daytona truck, and it sounds way better than that. Way deeper sound. Next time you need to swap mufflers try one.
