Hey 👋 I’m happy to see you guys had a great time in my home town and I hope you come back again. Our beaches do not close at 4pm. Not sure who told you that. The life guards used to leave at 4pm, now I believe they leave at 6 which is lame because that means you would have to pay to park till 6pm now! Not cool 😎 for all the islanders that work all day and just want to go down for a swim, But you can certainly go on the beach and swim and enjoy yourself after the life guards are off duty. Just use caution. I wear shorts and comfy clothes downtown. If people were looking at you funny maybe they were from out of town or just jerks! Lol anyway I would have chatted with you! ✌️ have fun in New York!
