we must say NO to VPL 🥹
I'm in the Southern Hemisphere so this came right on time for me. Great video, most helpful part was the explanation of how natural & synthetic materials react sweat.
Are you from Aus??
@@Demeraaa That's so specific, but I get why you'd think that😂... Check your analytics, I'm sure you'll narrow it down😉
lazy girls need to go for the mitchum, aluminium-FULL deodorant, it may be toxic but it works. natural deodorant takes time, consistency and attention WE DONT WANT TO SMELL YOU FOR EVEN A SECOND as you figure out how to make salt of the earth work for you
You go HARD🎉
Always
it’s time for me to get rid of my high rise jeans, THIS was the final straw that I needed
Glad to be a catalyst
You appear tall, look at the kibbe body types if you are interested, just some advises:don't warch Merriam style channel;don't do the test Learn the basics principles, etc. I think you are a flamboyant natural, is a body that is robust in bones, specially in the shoulders area, sporty body, and width in the shoulders, that beach girl body.
I'll look at more flamboyant naturals and see what I think
Hi Damera, God create you perfect for Him. You shoulders looks incredible Sexy never underestimate you potencial and I’m agree that you body can be flamboyant natural. 😊from Australia
I'm a guy, but I see potential here, so I'll subscribe even though you didn't ask me to (you should always ask). Now that I'm a subscriber, just humour me & see if this video won't get more views if you change the title to "You're Wearing The Wrong Jeans"
I will actually further increase your humour by changing the title AND pinning this comment. Thank you🤝
@@Demeraaa Mama I made it! Thanks for even giving that suggestions a chance. Keep dropping fire vids, you'll crack the algorithm eventually & the world will catch on🤞
my favourite style of jeans is mid rise, wide leg, stone wash!
ginuwine loves how i look in those jeans
@@Adrene You were in the studio when he wrote the song
Love this. As a broad-shouldered track & field girl, I very much appreciate your ethos behind simply accepting my body type as well as your styling tips for it. In 2024, we're very much embracing our muscular, athletic women :) Ilona Maher is our mother now, after all.
Yeah, gotta boost us all up. Acceptance is a must or we drive ourselves insane trying to be something we're not!!
This was such an amazing video! You're stunning :)
A sweet thing to say, thank you!
I recommend doing yoga everyday, 10-15 minutes everyday is fine. As it helps elongate your spine, and it makes your shoulders more longer. I noticed a drastic difference in my outfits and they looked much better, considered how much I thought my upper torso/shoulders looked bad. Plus it helps with sleep and memory.😂💕
Well done! ❤❤❤
Such a great video! Thank you for posting this!
Well thank you and you're very welcome. More to come
just the concise, informative and entertaining video that I needed from a fellow broad shoulder girlie!
We're carrying the community on these shoulders
Love your vibe!
Love this comment! Thank you
I love this vid for alternate styling options. However, I want everyone looking at my broad shoulders and pronounced collarbone! I personally find that to look gorgeous on everyone, but again, I love the styling options in this vid.
Thank you! I will admit I love a pronounced collarbone with layered jewellery
my favourite tip was bottoms for balance, imma try that one
Ready to see the looks you come up with
U glowwww
Fammmmm
So true. As a senior comfort and practicality are essential, but you got show some pizzazz in having your own style.🎉
Yes! We believe that style, comfort and practicality can coexist

Just discovered you with this video ! Love the tips and your personality xx
Glad the tips have a use AND my personality hasn't gone to waste🫶🏾😂

I dunno, you may be wrong 'cause this comment got a chuckle out of me!
Genius points!
I'm glad you think so, thank you!
i love the emphasis on submitting to your comfort preferences. it's easy to forget while shopping or underestimate
It's so important. You can be cute AND cosy

Love this video alot of what you say is true 👍 Can I ask do you or anyone know how to delete RUclips on android phone? I've tried disabling it and it's just too easy to enable it again. Thanks 👍
Hopefully another android user will come along soon to help you out. For now I recommend finding a replacement form of entertainment that you'll turn to like sketching, listening to music or reading and have it set up and ready to go. When you feel yourself reaching for youtube, go do that instead!
@Demeraaa Thanks alot for your reply and you're suggestions. I'll give some of them a try ❤️👍
big up atlanta mf georgia and your storytelling! great watch
Thank you! We love Atlanta!!
Get the London look!!!!!!!!! Exceptional storytelling ❤
I actually have a gap in my teeth so I do have the London look 😌
Love the southern hospitality. 😍
We live for it!
yessss not many talk about the over reliance of RUclips once you delete the rest
on**
And it can be chronic!
The comparison of weed and social media addiction is SPOT ON
This is the video I needed. I completely agree, RUclips IS social media. I have deleted all other social media years ago but kept youtube. But now I quit. Your videos have this authentic feeling to them that other channels lack. It makes me feel like you are truly trying to educate the people and not looking for clicks. One concept I think about is: Don't complain your life is boring while you watch social media. Because when you watch social media, you are watching what other people are experiencing, Instead, Go out, delete social media and live those experiences. It is great that you are doing this. We need more women role models in this world. we have too many girls LIVE on social media and they are bland as the wall in real life. I hope your message spreads further. We have Hamza, and now we have you!
Came to check in on this video and I appreciate your comment. Always love to share my thoughts so that I can hear other people’s opinions too. I think the temptation to be very animated ALL THE TIME on RUclips is always there but I think it’s best to put forward the way you actually feel at the time of filming.
She decided to speak truth!
I liked that video. I do think it is a bit more confident than that, however being a professional really requires time and efforts. And lack of those things cannot be simplified and said that it is "imposter syndrome". However, the more confident you feel, the easier you learn. That's how i see it. Therefore, if you lack confidence, it can take you forever to actually feel like you're good at what you're doing
It’s difficult because when you learn it builds confidence but you often need confidence to start learning. Symbiotic relationship. I definitely encourage learning to build confidence, even in private at first if you have to!
@@Demeraaa I've just noticed that there's a typo. I meant "it's a bit more complicated(not confident) than that", Thank you for your response
I do not konw how i ended up finding this video but i´m glad i did. Great Video.
Thanks Rene! Glad the suggested page brought it to you
I like your perspective ❤
I’ve never really thought about imposter syndrome in this way I think this is why I always feel inferior to people that have the same or even less experience then I do in a certain topic or job This was a great video! You earned my sub
I’m honoured, seriously
Thank you so f-ing much. I just moved countries and I’m so so self aware but comforting myself isn’t going to work. Going out and practicing a whole other language is. It’s exactly what I needed to hear. Also seriously feel that acting story… when I was younger I gave it my all, and I’m been working on acting as a craft for years but I’ve never been an actress, I pulled back the second I got to an age of self-consciousness and it’s never been the same. Still I crave that feeling of absolutely blacking out on stage as I be a different person. Cause that’s how my best performance feel and it’s been a long time. Thank you fr. I’ve never meant it so much.
You can do it, it’s gonna take failing, a lot, publicly. The same is true for all of us but if we can push through the discomfort of making a repeated effort, there’s always a reward 🫶🏾
"maybe your imposter syndrome comes from the fact that you don't actually do the thing that you say you're doing " Yes, that actually make sense
Oooooooof. This going to hit a lot of people hard the way it hit me. So I’m going to come back later to read the comments when it pops off
We all need that hit from time to time, INCLUDING ME! Hope it helps you make a change that you feel is positive 😊
yes this is it
It’s the picking something to become truly skilled in that can have you stumped !!
I believe some people have been paid to sabotage the Carnival so they come just to cause trouble so the racist could get it stopped. Strange you never hear about the crimes at The Glastonbury Cokefest
The music in Nottinghill Carnival nowadays is absolute rubbish ,it's just repetitive noise, them so called Dj's should be jailed for crimes against music
Depends on the music you’re looking for? I heard soca almost 100% of the time this year and I was happy with that!
@@Demeraaa mans a Roots Reggae head lol
@@patkelly8309 in that case, better luck next year 🫡
@@Demeraaa Where is Soca from?
South America?
There is a reason I have never been to carnival. That “g-string” analogy 😂😂😂😂
You gotta see it through your own eyes! Yeah because when I started to think too hard about it..
Demaraaaaaaa !
Frank's here!!!!
Even in a crowd, just make sure you stick with your friends at all times and well away from anyone or any group that overly stares. I was looking to compare this event to what it used to be, with multiple tabs open, and after you said 'who wants to be a kid in a buggy' the screen showed exactly that, looking rather sad, lol (1995 notting hill carnival dancers voxpops, 15s in). The guy in the second half must be well known, as he's perhaps just a little too excited. I think it may end up ticket based event with the dancing on stage. I think the 1990s was a turning point when it came to worrying less about being modest, but that was arguably a reflection and or influenced by many arts (esp US pop culture). It's hard to work out the exact turning point, given the media of old in the 70s and 80s (bar the coverage of violence) may have been rather modest itself when it came to what they'd want to show the public on tv. Regardless of what people tell each other, I also think objectification is worse now compared to twenty years ago. On top of the evolution of pop culture, we now have a decade of growing up on the internet, where males (of any age with a phone) have access to literally anything and everything they wish. The most viewed material online is the objectification of women. Adult material. There will be a huge change when it comes to the mindset of the last generation. People either grow up conditioned on that material, treating others as objects in real life, or bullied or the bully on social media. A platform where egotistic behaviour is rewarded by the loudest or outspoken, who gather a following with a herd mindset. This may lead to hypersensitive adults. In the end, the changes with the carnival come down to imported pop influence, esp the US, a country where there are forever changing trends, and forever widening passionate, political beliefs over what is right and wrong regarding ethics and morality. Together with the internet to amplify those issues and export them at a lightning pace, and corporations who will pretend they care or just mirror the most popular influencers in order to boost reputations, the big question is where that country is heading, along with those that are most easily influenced by it
Yes the turning point is so difficult to find and I’m spoilt now in terms of documentation so it’s not as easy to compare what was really going on in the 70s/80s/90s - now. People seem to share the sentiment that the sexualisation is from America, I really don’t know but wherever it’s from I definitely don’t think it’s making a net positive influence !
Reminded me of the way pride has gone. Nudity sexual acting out and aggression.
Perhaps this is just what a large gathering of Brits now equals 😭
Nudity - well yea the white /light skin women run the culture and they want a man or attention .
Well articulated. Seems the Carrabean influence on our country is less and less American culture seems to be more dominant. The Carnival keeps the interest in Carrabean culture and the community going but it's getting less like the old Carnivals. You are right culture is fluid and as we have multi cultures in London and the UK so it's inevitable that things change. I don't go anymore it's too crowded for me. I wouldn't want it to be cancelled. There would be a huge loss to the country if we lost Notting Hill Carnival. I will fight to keep it going even though I don't go anymore.
You’re absolutely right it’s gotta keep going!
