Pickleball Nutrition & Fitness Tips No One Talks About | Transform Your Pickleball Game Today
This is click bait material without trying to be. It’s just someone’s perspective based on their own values. We have no idea where pickleball will go but when I watch the pro’s play on TV/You Tube it looks pretty legit to me. The best point made is it’s a fun and social and can be very competitive and athletic. A sport that is very popular because many can play it. From a very basic level to an elite athletic level. If the author just wanted to offer an opinion that’s intended to garner attention or is it a thoughtful position we’ll leave everyone to judge. I am just getting tired of weak content in post after post after post. This fits into that category. That’s the real elephant in the room in our society today
So the real problem in society is content that doesn't meet your standards. OK got it.
The real problem is people with weak opinions offering it as content. Everyone can have opinions but sharing it and passing it off as truths is what is wrong with society. And why social media is a cesspool. As people put up garbage and want to be influencers or wisdom gurus. It’s not about disagreeing with your opinion it’s how you position it. You would lose a basic debate in logic on this one. Whatever your intent is on posting your opinions just call it ‘my opinion only’
Had to mention. It should be "Pickleball's secret" . Pickleballs' secret implies the secret belongs to multiple pickleballs. 😉
Many many 'down sides' to this sport. Yes, it's as bad as some fanatical religious beliefs. With this sport, many players who get into this sport then to spend all 'time and energy' into this and no time for any other persuits, commitments, family time, ambitions etc. it's just crazily addictive to ones' avoidance to more important responsibilities. Of course there are many 'up sides' but knowing to balance this with all other commitments is the key. Pretty sure on the way to Heaven, one will ask if there is pickleball there? If not, they will even consider hell if it's there. Lol!
Do your research , both Serena and Venus Williams love to play pickleball. As for LeBron James and Tom Brady they not only both love and play they also own Pickleball teams. And if Sharipova , Graf , Agassi , McEnroe, Sock are just old washed up tennis players id like to see you go up against them in either pickleball or tennis , im pretty sure they'd make you look silly without breaking a sweat.
Lol, the only thing that describes me as a Mod TA-15 owner is that I work in tech. This paddle is designed for tennis players that have figured out how to blend pickleball and tennis technique and can use spin to maximum effect.
And then there’s Pickleball singles
@@VisibleMRJ Don't even get me started on singles.
Thats a tennis court bro
Its measured off for pickleball also. We lower the net to meet regulation. And I can walk to it.

They have a website also but its 30% off on amazon right now.
Spin shot was sick
Amen and well said ❤
Wow, this dude is desperate for content. I really enjoy the game. The courts are packed.
I don't think you play the sports. Weather playing singles or doubles Pickleball requires endurance, speed, fast reflexes, strategy, and it worksout your entire body. It also requires the ability to hit a ball at the right spot and to put it at the right place. This must have been a click and bite. Is it a real sports, yes, does it needs some work, yes. My biggest problem with pickleball is the behavior of upper level players. They fail to help the sports to grow by being too selective with who they play with, and their concern with rating.
I definitely play. I came from tennis and i don't understand why anyone would play singles. It's literally a dumbed down version of tennis. Tennis is a gentleman's game and pickleball is definitely not I'm still adjusting to that. It's a blast to play, I can play with my wife because it's way easier. But it's not a grueling sport let's be honest, it's supposed to be more strategic. Everyone's got their opinions.
Yes agree, once a player gets a rating, they wont play with others even casually. Im thinking of a particular guy who I started with and helped out.
Although I get your point and I'm sure many people share your thoughts, there are numerous sports that you don't have to be athletic to play. Let's take baseball. If you can catch throw or hit a ball well, you can play baseball. There's not a lot of athleticism needed for the exception of those three things. Yes, when you look at the baseball players, most of them are in great shape. But they really don't need to be. Take Babe Ruth for example. One of the best in the sport and he was not athletic looking at all. Several sports people will get into shape for but don't really need to be. This makes us think you have to be athletic to do it but in most cases you really don't. Competitive diving, badminton, ping pong, curling, shotput, etc .. many of these sports are just fun, similar to pickleball. So why not compare them? The real "sports" where you have to be in great shape are basketball, football, soccer, rugby, etc...If we're basing it on that criteria, then none of the forementioned are sports. In a time where lables are avoided at all cost, why even care about the question of whether it's a sport or not? It all comes down to jealousy. Pickleball is all the rage and it upsets people that it is so popular. So just like the popular girl in school, you try to bring them down to your level so you don't feel bad about yourself! I'm all reality, it's a fun, athletic sport when you play with upper level players. Otherwise it's a recreational game. Period.
It gets hated, not because its popular and all the rage, but because people who play pretend it is something that it is not. My point was not to put down unathletic people, but to realize that these people have found a game they can play and they try spinning it like its something its not. I love pickleball, but I also have enough sense to realize its a backyard game.
JFYI badminton is one of the most physically demanding sport, more demanding than tennis. Ping pong probably is not, but table tennis is also demanding (maybe not much as tennis and badminton, but at the very top level you have to be very athletic). I believe that your point completely makes sense nevertheless. Many haters just cannot sleep if the did not put someone down.
agree, but to set the record straight, badminton is very athletic sport, this speaks from a player like me who played tennis at 4.0( played singles) then switched to badminton and found it no less physically demanding than tennis but way much more fun and way much more strategy plays than tennis. tennis doesn't have much net plays and shot selections are very few, but in badminton the shot placement is to the whole court so you have a lot of strategy to play your games . I strongly recommend anyone who is athletic try badmninton, it gives you good workout and a ton of fun , it's very addictive. and also pls stop saying ping pong is not a sport , it is a very good sport , anyone play at a higher level would tell you that. I play at an intermediate level , but already can realize that.
Apparently you somehow omitted the fact that pickleball as a pro sport is about 5 years old. And you compare it to century old sports. How would you even expect to have athletes "who dedicated their whole life" to pickleball? But give it another 5-10 years and it will be just all other top racket sports, just hopefully a bit more fun.
Maybe, but I dont know if you have every played singles pickleball but its tennis with plastic raquets, a wiffle ball and a smaller court. Its really a doubles game, and I have a hard time seeing a doubles game becoming on the level with main stream sports. However I am wrong a lot so we will see.
@@koalapickleball I used to play tennis, table tennis, and badminton. All at advanced level (non-pro though). Now I'm a 5.0 pickleball player. As for pickleball singles, it's one of the toughest racket sports somewhere at badminton level, just tougher on your joints because the court is hard. Not sure I understand your "on the level" statement. Doubles pickleball is definitely not as harsh on your buddy (at least at my level) as other racket sports I played especially if you compare pickleball doubles to other sports singles. Pickleball is significantly more mental game than others. It's just different. So what does "on the level with main stream sports" mean at all? If we are talking about the US, badminton, squash, and table tennis are virtually non-existent sports. They have 10 times less players (probably altogether), you barely can see them on TV as well. So what criteria do you use when hinting that pickleball is not a real sport?
@@MarkNapartovich This could go back and forth forever. I see your point, I just disagree. A good tennis player can become a good pickleball player at a 4.0 or better in less than a month. A good pickleball player would take at least a year to become a 4.0 tennis player. It is so popular because anyone can play it. Like learning a card game but with a little exercise. Again, I love pickleball, I am just explaining why it gets made fun of so much.
@@koalapickleball ok. Good table tennis player can become a 4.0 tennis player in months (I know quite some, myself included), while even pro tennis player likely will *never* get to USATT 1800 (which level I believe is achievable for most enthusiasts). What does it tell us? Nothing! Every sport has it's own specifics which can help or prevent migration to another sport. I used to play tennis at about 5.0 (hard to tell as it was in another country). After 15-20(!!) years of not touching tennis racket I still was able to play tennis decently. Now, after playing pickleball for a couple of years I tried tennis again and found I cannot hit the ball as if I was a complete beginner with problematic coordination. And apparently I'm not alone: ruclips.net/video/KmPQP5Cj87g/видео.html Thus, I believe your claim, that pickleball is somewhat lesser racket sport is based mostly on flawed logic. As for hatred we run @ThePickleballPirates channel for 4 years, so I'd disagree with your explanation as well even though I should admit it is a beautiful theory. From our experience there are 2 types of haters: 1. Real tennis players pissed off by courts converting/sharing 2. Low level tennis snobs that suck at every sport but like to feel their superiority over someone. For some reason snobs are specific to tennis and barely could be met in other racket sports. Of course there are quite some people who do not understand what pickleball is. But most of them are not haters. They just think that pickleball is not a real sport and do not care. I was there too. It's hard to get excited about pickleball (or any other sport) watching just 3.0s and below. Would you get excited about tennis watching 3.0 tennis players? It's way more awkward and painful than watching pickleball at that level.
@@koalapickleball I thought I answered that, but the comment got lost somehow. > A good tennis player can become a good pickleball player at a 4.0 or better in less than a month. A good pickleball player would take at least a year to become a 4.0 tennis player. That's true: pickleball actually kills tennis mechanics. After 15 years of not touching tennis racket I still was able to play. Then I started to play pickleball. Now I just cannot hit the ball as if I was someone uncoordinated who sees tennis for the first time. And I'm not alone: ruclips.net/video/KmPQP5Cj87g/видео.html A good table tennis player can become a good tennis player at 4.0 (I do not consider 4.0 tennis player a good player though) or better in a month or two (I know some examples myself included). Even pro tennis player would likely *never* be a good table tennis player (even USATT 1700), there could be some exceptions of course, but that would require quitting tennis and years of dedication. Does it mean tennis not a real sport?
So a couple rich families invented pickleball on accident

I once clicked on a PB video and am now inundated with PB videos…I never click on them. I clicked on this one because I sensed it might be ironically funny…and it somewhat was. I bought a Gen3 Perseus as my first paddle spending over $50…and it was “banned” the next week. I kept it because I’m not playing any PPA tourney anytime soon…
Its an awesome paddle, I just love making fun of it because people get so mad.
@@koalapickleball PB certainly has a lot of sensitive people in the community…it’s likely due to the game being so easy to play, while some thought that they actually discovered a talent. Even the pros are not very talented, imo, and the prize money reflects that. I like playing PB, but it’s really the checkers of sports..
@@guslevy3506 Are you a long lost twin? 100 percent agree.
Whiner. Weak sauce! Best paddle ever!

4.0 but can’t control where their ball goes. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think you’re mixing up the ways of the DUPR. 😝🤣 I get some of the satire, but speed and intensity are parts of the game.

Yo, Dude! It is not pronounced Youla. It's pronounced Yoela, as in Yo, Dude! Other than that, don't take yourself so seriously.
first time ive heard that thanks -
It’s very funny. The first type uses True Social and the last type uses Reddit for PB tips. And the 2nd type does not give a crap to social media😂😂
Lol very true
All I heard was crying cause you can’t take the heat in a game and mad cause you got hit. Who cares, toughen up or get out of the way, or better yet hit it back. Not a single factual thing or review of the paddle itself.
Who you upset at? A koala bear on the internet can you this butt hurt. All good - the paddle is solid - just cracking jokes on how unoriginal it is. As much bad publicity as they got and came out with essentially the same paddle was the punchline here. Nothing but love over here.
You-la. 😂
Sorry, I just don't trust Joola after the Gen-3 debacle. Joola will not provide a return authorization for the paddle I purchased directly from their web site. They don't answer the phone and they don't respond to emails or their web contact form. Their customer service is non-existent! I'll never buy a Joola product again.

People with slow hands are always the ones complaining
Actually reflexes like a cat! I'm complaining for the normies - the people who finally found a sport they can play. A thanks would be nice but that's ok, not all heroes wear capes. I'll still be here fighting for you.
Love this!
Thanks - first nice comment I ever received
@@koalapickleball I’m sure it won’t be the last!😎
Do your research!! This has been approved since sept 2023. This was the original prototype from which the gen 3’s were born. It is on the approved list.. I would not even call this a review as you did not even talk abt the paddle performance other than complain. You should not be on here..
Wow this isn't a review and I said 100 times the paddle is awesome. Relax and get some fresh air. Thanks for the comment.
Crap review...obvious you've never played or held the new one...cmon man...at least play with them before the rant.
Not a review, just simply stating the lack of creativity of how it's basically the exact same paddle that got banned is pretty lame. I mentioned several times the gen 3 paddle is sweet - but after all the negative PR who is going to buy this one that is essentially the same. That's it - thanks for coming out and remember to smile.
wa wa wa
It's Yola not Yula 🤣
You say Yola, Owen the AI pronounces it Yula - its all good.
Not even a fan of Joola but this just felt like an AI complaining. Bordering on ragebait.
Definitely rage bait and definitely AI. However the rage was real I was pissed I had a match and played a few guys that had no strategy other than just hitting at you as hard as possible when we're both at the kitchen. Voice AI script 90% me and 10% AI.
@@koalapickleballhahahaha they must’ve beat you so you came to cry on RUclips 😂😂
No we won, but I still came here to cry. Thanks for listening.
Such a dumb video. Don’t want to get hit? Play better.
Nice. Now do the gearbox.
It fits all the requirements, even the gen 3s didn’t have crazy power where reflexes couldn’t get to it. Most people getting pelted are players not just naturally fast and athletic. Good for athletic players but get how it’s tough for unathletic people
Whatever floats your boat, if you want to buy the same paddle that just got banned - go for it. Just know everyone is laughing at you behind your back. You got the NFC chip in the paddle so you got the last laugh.
