The Gloria Patri (Glory be to the Father) is sung every Sunday in the middle of the church service in both the Presbyterian Church and the Disciples of Christ Church that Iwas born and raised in! Both of my parents were born and raised in the Disciples of Christ Church. My dad is an Ordained Disciples of Christ Minister. My mother is a public high school teacher. I am the youngest son and child of my parents who have been married for 59 years. I myself earned both my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre and Drama and my master's degree in library and information science specializing in children and young adult literature and services in a public library from Indiana University located in Bloomington, Indiana. I am the supervisor of the Children and Young Adult Department and Assistant Director in a public library system! My paternal grandfather was born and raised in the Presbyterian Church. I was born in the very late fall of 1978. I love this beautiful hymn and song!

Yes, we all have sin but the 1st act of Faith is being obedience to the Truth so that we can overcome the enemy.
