RED SAVANNAH TUTORIAL - PART 3
In this third video of this series, I'm sitting again behind the drum-set, and I'd like to share with you some exercises that I designed to develop rhythmic control and coordination on triplet subdivision, while used in an odd meter situation; in this case 7:4.
It's not only a training system dedicated to technique, but also a way I'd like to show to you how I develop new concepts and train to get confident and in control with them.
Here you will find a workout through a series of exercises conceived to be progressive steps, proposed in different orchestrations, and below there's a link to download the transcription, for free.

Great stuff once again Daniele, I've been listening to the Drift-Lab album almost constantly in my car over the last few weeks, it keeps reminding of the first Simon Phillips album 'Protocol' from the late 80's, only much more complex. Will we get to hear any new Drift-Lab music in the future? I know there was one track called 'The Great Wall' which doesn't appear on the album. Cheers from Ireland.
