First solo camping in the Rockies. First time sleeping in the Jeep too, here is the setup. Only thing I forgot to show were the two pieces of wood to fill the gap between front and back seats.

See Awning setup for Jeep camping: ➡️ ruclips.net/video/kz0aMSVU5UQ/видео.html ⬅️ Message me to send you full write-up. Supply List: • Heavy Duty Brown 8x10 ft tarp ( I suggest buying an 8x6 ft or if an 8x8ft exists. I ended up cutting the tarp to 8x8, sewed it, and put in new grommets. If you don’t alter it like me, ignore the grommet kit on this supply list). • 4inch PVC Pipe (Comes as a 10 f...

What a good girl.
What a lovely meal... ❤️❤️❤️
Just beautiful!
She is beautiful but even if she was ugly you shouldn’t let her have chicken bones. The splinters can puncture their intestines during digestion.
That only applies to COOKED bones. Raw bones are actually quite soft. Feel free to try it yourself, get a hammer and a drumstick, one cooked and one raw.
Whats your wheel and tire setup? Lifted?
Ya it was lifted. 235/70/16 BF Goodrich KO2s with 16x8 Pro Comp 7032 wheels with 4.5 inch backspacing
That is awesome! Great job! Thanks for sharing and giving me some ideas....
Beautiful build! Quick question, where’d you get the whip light mount?
The CB antenna over the tail lights? I bought it from a CB radio shop. Can also buy from an offroad shop or Amazon.
Awesome 👌 mine is similar but I did not have the horizontal poles, maybe an upgrade :)
How disciplined dog she was.
She's mouth is melting 🤤 😁
why are you holding the chicken just let her eat
Because it taught her to chew. She was new to raw and would inhale her food, that leads to a choking dog 🥸
@@mudfootprints403 fair enough, I genuinely didn’t know that
This is amazing. If you put the silver side up it will reflect the sun and it will be a lot cooler. GREAT job…
Beautiful
Cool awning I like sum of your creative thinking on this doing sum Wat the same can I ask why didn't you use longer bolts on the abs part and stick the conduit pipe on top of the abs pipe and tighten that piece as one other than great job...
This is bad ass
This is a great version of an awening. Good job and thank you for sharing.
Good job!
Hi, can u please explain to me, is it safe to feed ur dog with raw uncooked meat or chicken along with Bones, i m under d impression we shld nt feed Bones to our dogs as its dangerous for their stomach ?
Raw bones are safe, they're softer. Cooked bones can splinter and piece the stomach. Test it out, smash a cooked and raw chicken wing with a hammer.
@@mudfootprints403 ok thnks
It's fine to them..it's contains alot of calcium too.
Great set-up!! Congrats!
Great vid!
What is the size of your tarp and 2hat was the cost of the build?
It's an 8x10 but I modified it to be an 8x8. Costwise, I think was about $120CAD.
Is it okay to give your dogs uncooked meat?
Yes
I love how she is drooling just lookin at food😂 my boy does that too😂😂
Cropped ears is no different than having a circumcision. And no I don't remember that happening. Just like the Doberman doesn't recall it either. People just because someone prefers a certain look. Doesn't give you the right to demonize them. After all that isn't your animal. As far as that goes. Doberman owners more often than not. Treat their Dobermans better than you probably treat your closet family members. Cropped ears actually did have a purpose. It is mainly cosmetics now. Because that's how Dobermans were designed to look. So, says the man who invented the Breed. No I will not elaborate. You can Google it. And yes I have a Doberman. With cropped ears and docked tail. My dog is smarter than your kids. So, get over it. Because there's nothing you're going to do to change it.
The procedures are banned in Europe!
I am not positive but i think they are banned in NY state too. EDIT: the procedures are banned in NY state as well as 4 other states for cosmetic reasons only for medical reason
She is so sweet! 🥰
Thank you for sharing! such an amazing idea will this work on sedan car?
It should. Might need a smaller pipe
@@mudfootprints403thanks for help! Cheers
Obedience Doggyfied😄
Now some feminists will come and say Doesn't she have the right to be called DobberWOMAN
Yeh you can delete my replies to the idiots who think is ok to mutilate ears of dogs, but you cant stop the progress and awarness that goes about this cruel practice! It is ban already in countries that really care about animals ! You should ba ashame to have make your dog endure this at 8 weeks old!!!! You can give all the best food in the world to your dog and film it, so people can complimenting you on social media but you dont love your dog! Its all about YOUR ego!!
What a well trained pupper. Awwww :’)
Hi I just got a Jeep Patriot 2007 and I be turning it into a camper but what you did to your is fantastic did a great job you got a new subscribe... ady
Awesome thanks! Good luck with the build
good girl :)
Awesome work. Please post more
Isn’t there a high chance she can get salmonella from the chicken?
Theres a risk dogs can get salmonella from kibble also
@@mudfootprints403 way less than in uncooked chicken
@@fci501 you should look more into raw diets for dogs. You can't compare a dog's stomach to a humans. Id rather feed a balanced raw diet to my dog than kibble. 1. She starved herself on kibble. Wouldn't eat it 2. KIibble is highly processed 3. She's healthy and happy. Vet had no concerns and dentist was super impressed by how clean and white her teeth are. Thanks for the comment.
@@fci501 the risk of salmonella is to humans not dogs. It's as simple as cleaning your prep and feeding area.
I think you did a great job.
Always told never give dogs chicken bones
Dogs can eat chicken and chicken bones. They're actually soft in comparison to beef or deer.
@@mudfootprints403 nope they splinter and can choke dogs
@@mudfootprints403 they can eat raw not cooked my mistake urs were raw 🙂
Lovely dog I had one yes ago but in UK can't dock tails and they look wrong I want another but have to get an import
no cooked bones of any kind, and no raw pork due to parasites or chicken raw unless it's tested for salmonella. Turkey/beef/lamb is fine. check with your Vet
How long did you have to crop her ears. She's beautiful
Thanks. We posted her ears until she was 8 months old. Ears were cropped at 8 weeks old.
Perfect ears
Fucking assholes! And how about we crop your fucking ears pos !?
What the hell....why do you do such things to dogs???!!
@@bruh918, It’s his dog. What do you care? That’s how Doberman supposed to look
she is GORGEOUS!
Yeah a shame they mutilate her ears.. she would be more beautiful with her natural ears, the ears she was born with
@@fannyboni472, nobody was asking your opinion about ears
@@BogdanNeymeti He's right 😂 There is literally zero reason to mutilate a doberman's ears besides fashion standards. Their natural ears are so much prettier
She is beautiful
hey how is the tarp awning holding up after the past 2 years, is it still good ? Have you made any modifications ? looking to make one for my vehicle !
I made the mistake one day to not tie it down and the wind flipped it over my vehicle and broke some poles and the pvc pipe. As long as you tie it down it will last a long time
I thought it was dangerous to feed a dog chicken bones I guess not.
Nope. COOKED bone are dangerous because they can splinter and perferate the GI tract.
I would never feed my doberman chicken with bones
@@caroleorion1273 lol awesome, thank's for the comment
Carole orion that’s what they would naturally eat so it’s actually the best thing for them to eat so watch where you speak 🤚🏼Cooked chicken on the other hand is not good for them.
Beautiful dog
Gorgeous Doberman. Why are you feeding it with chicken bones?
Thanks. Its part of her meal. She eats raw
Looks awesome definitely i am making one!!
Great vid! Needed some ideas
Cool, another video regarding. Oh, I've been wanting to paint Type 1 White Silicone over a tarp to see if can make a more cost effective and water proof longer lasting tarp/canopy also. Cool amateur radio or just CB? For the windows, I invested in some paracord tied around the perimeter and used those clip black big paperclips to clip on what I was going to sew white UFP50+ polylycra. I also over the years picked up some sale polyfleece white and black blankets when cheaper than the material to use as another layer. Wound up not living in the Super Hypermiled Motorhome Prius the last few years, so haven't used. Great call on the no-see-um fabric. I just installed what I had got to use for the windows in the house windows where I'm working on. Thanks for sharing!
Thats a good idea for the tarp, let me know how it goes if you do it. Its a Cobra 75 WX ST. I have a new and better setup I gotta post asap haha. Thanks :)
@@mudfootprints403 Will do. I amazingly am swamped with good deal and free items to repurpose/restore/re-use/repair at the moment. 1/4" thick ~2.5x2.5" square stock that started cutting since thought was welded piers from a dock pulled. Wound up having bolts so can re-purpose for heavy duty outdoor materials shelving and maybe nature area walkway/bridge. Thinking a trailer or two also. Plus a yard leveler/drag rake. What's the Cobra 75 WX ST? Is that the handheld radio? I'm so looking forward to this winter to do indoor electronics, amateur radio and RF engineering projects. As with most projects I'm super slow mo moving forward regarding. Awesome thing is, I just picked up a $25 Shelter Logic 10x20 frame that need cleaning, primed and painted... though is heavy duty 2" tubing. Will be nice to do some off the grid/road projects again. First, things first, I need to make some shed space to free up workshop space to do the RDF patrol truck Mike Basich inspired Ram walkthrough and upgrades. Behind on videos too, have been writing my thoughts on my Facebook lately when I can remember at least to take photos. James Analytic is the FB. Be safe and take care! Kind Regards
Thanks for sharing. Got me thinking a hardshell awning/canopy that rolls out of a PVC pipe ripped in half with the backside having a hinge that maybe can be covered with 1.5" or two 1" silicone tape along the back seem. Then type 1 silicone the edges just to be safe and lower drag since not sure how the silicone itself with seal to the PVC. Though thinking will be a great idea to lower drag. Maybe PlastiDip will work also. Then for the ends of the PVC pipe I think I've thread them will be best, though caps will probably work with something like a pin or something or velcro to makes sure doesn't come off. Then a latch or velcro in the middle in one or two places for when closing up. Probably way overthinking... and what you're doing is right on. Cool thinking!
AI just linked me to somewhat what I was envisioning. Here's the link to the video with the above similar design if you're interested since might be a good idea to make easier setup and tear down: ruclips.net/video/Xc93sNdcMAA/видео.html I might add like a crank socket end on the tail side of some sort to make easier to roll back up.
I also wonder about the posts being positioned on fixed points on the bottom of the vehicle body or maybe an underframe mount part that can be easily stowed. Then no need for stakes and ropes.
Very Cool?
Great idea, thanks for sharing
