My hair shed the most when I used Shea Moisture. Now that I’ve switched to salon grade shampoo and condition and leave in along with grease my hair is doing so much better.

I agree. I shampoo with it once but I make sure to take my time. Afterwards, I follow up with a moisture shampoo and conditioner.

My cousin had this done by a white lady. It helped her be able to do her own hair. I know white ladies who put the same relaxer we used in their hair for the same reason. A lot of white people who have natural curly hair use relaxers. My friends my loved Dark and lovely. I never knew for the longest she even had curly hair.

did grease change your hair texture?? I used to use very hot water, cream and grease for 3 years and my hair got to waist length. Then all of a sudden, my hair started falling out. My hair became too soft and my hair texture changed. I stopped using everything except for grease but my hair is too mushy.

Spay hair with water first then seal in the moisture with the grease.

I'm a GenXer and have been Natural when it wasn't popular. And having a Black Man tell me, I SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF MYSELF FOR WEARING MY HAIR AS SUCH. HAVE HAVE TRACTION ALOPECIA, TWICE. So, between the DIY Coffee Hair Oil and using Blue Magic Indian Hemp. I put this on my 4c Hair. I will tell you, my hair has never been so juicy. Even with all the oils and Shea butters, add the grease and tied my hair. My hair was moisturized and had a sheen. I am happy. And I am looking forward to my Fall and Winter routine. I will keep my oils but really invest in Blue Magic❤

So many young RUclipsrs are using your methods and saying it’s a new thing but your methods are great and attainable. My hair use to be very long and thick but I started going to a hair stylist who did not like my hair natural and she started manipulating my hair without my consent and now I am recovering from chemical damage and heat damage and hard water damage. The biggest lie we have ever heard is Black people should not wash their hair more than once every 2-3 weeks. I actually use to wash my hair in college once a week and it was so healthy. Now I am going back to what worked years ago and adding the new method of how to comb my hair without damaging it and sealing moisture and having a clean scalp. This is my scalp, shoulders and upper back. I have excess sebum production and salicylic acid helps the best. Acv and tea tree oil are good for maintenance.

Can I put oil on the scalp then put grease on my hair??

I've come to learn that _"kinky black hair"_ doesn't grow slower than any other racial group, but their hair definitely retains length easier. Black hair retains length very easy when we make sure our hair gets protein and nutrients. That's it, plain and simple.

As my aunt said decades ago, "All you need is water and grease." My mother washed our hair twice a week, and our hair was thick, strong, and beautiful. Most of the hair care, growth videos are click bait. This is real advice.

Yup. White people take just as much time doing their hair, and they actually have to do their hair everyday vs us curlies who just do our hair once a week or once every few weeks.
