Came across your video and just thought I’d give you my experience at the career fair I graduated in 15 and I remember spending weeks preparing in advance for the career fair researched almost all the employers made tons of notes basically hype myself up so much for it and then the day of I go and I think I ended up getting one interview or something like that lined up and then I went again in the spring maybe had like one or two interviews but they didn’t ever really go anywhere. I just wanted to say for each person it’s different experience so maybe you will get an offer from it but at the end of the day though if you don’t get one, don’t get down on it like there are so many other ways to acquire a job I actually gained both of my internships without going through the University without attending the career fair or I should say not through the career fair not through the University I actually gained both my internship by applying on indeed and looking in different areas so if you don’t ever get a offer from the crew for don’t worry about it it’s not the end of the world you can easily send out applications through other external websites you don’t have to go through the University and there are an abundance of options and offers out there even more so than through the University and a lot of times they’re even better because the ones there at the University are very oh wow should I say it they’re returning every year and kind of hiring students in batches as bad as that kind of sounds that it’s true like the same employers have been going there for years. Plus looking at external sites os often a very overlooked method, you would be surprised how lazy some students are if they don’t get an offer at the career fair they just give up. Well I can tell you from first hand experience the person that gets the last laugh is the one the doesn’t give in. Worst thing you can do is get defeated and get down on yourself. Sorry for the typos I used siri and it get a little mixed up.
