I'm an average World of Warships player making these videos of my better battles.
You can find lots of RUclips content from unicum players, but it's hard to do what they do. I make these videos for the rest of us. I explain my thinking as the battles progress. I hope they are helpful.

What decides a battle in World of Warships? Sometimes it's points, sometimes caps, sometimes killing off the other team. Sometimes it's simply stopping the other team from capping. Those are defended ribbons. A couple two or three a game is common. Ten or more? That's a decent game. Eighty three? That's unheard of!

Thanks for the video! I enjoyed seeing how to use radio location. Jager is pronounced like YAY-gurr because of the umlaut on the a. (It means hunter in German.) Without the umlaut, it would be YAH-gurr.
I found there is only few times a week that I can actually test anything and play ranked, or randoms. There just isn't enough players. Oddly .. the Startrek mode seems a little more active. Coop is about the only mode that's available at all times - when the server is up. 30,000 dubs and 78,0000,000 credits here. I've never got/had any rewards to show up in my regular wows .. don't know why? Thanks for video!

Sorry - anyone who still plays this manipulated crap from Wargaming should really be thrown in the bin! Everyone knows by now that Wargaming manipulates through matchmaking, algorithms and bots. But there are still YT'ers and players who are simply resistant to learning and Wargaming relies on the stupidity of YT and players. 😁 Incidentally, former Wargaming programmers have already confirmed this themselves!

1) Never sell lower-tier ships; they're just not worth enough. 2) Generally don't move Captains along the line as you go up; use CXP or FXP to make 6-pointers at each level, which is often enough. 3) Use Operations to learn or even grind; they have a WAY higher win-rate generally and are an easier grind. 4) Regarding that Google doc, IGNORE the IFHE skills in it; it pre-dates IFHE nerfs.
I generally would agree on your first point, however, if I'm short on cash and/or port slots, the low tier ships are going to go. With the captains, again, it costs credits or dubs to recruit a 6 point captains. I want my high point captains on my high tier ships, so I usually do move them along. It costs in elite commander XP, but that has paid off in the high tiers.
So after watching this video I come to the following conclusions: 1. It does not fix the spotting issue as the recon button timer is way too lenient. By the time you have taken off and arrived at the enemy you will have recharged your recon. 2. It gives the impression that AA is even less effective than it is now, as you can basically start your attack run from immunity, bypassing a lot of the AA along the way. 3. I don't really get what WG is trying to attempt here, the changes feel like they're trying to apply bandages to a nicked artery.
@@quintiax I expect to have at least one more round of testing in PTS. I think the spotting timer built up to about 45 seconds from take-off until reaching the enemy area. Once I dropped down to spotting altitude, I seemed to use that time up quickly, and it took a while to replace it. It's kind of like the limits subs have (had?) in underwater duration. I will make more videos when we get more testing time.

WoWS rng. Watchingy shells snale around, left, right, up, down and what looks like a solid shot results on 0 hits because reezuns. WG has some if the most infuriating degrees of rng

@@shekiba.646 The vibration can be controlled by running the resonance compensation calibration in setup. Also, make sure you have the printer on a really solid table. It is still noisy and vibrates, but that is the nature of the core x-y type of printer running at high speed.
when he is talking about the computer network needing to be on the same network as my printer at 5:00 in the video can i use eithernet or no for my pc
@hihihihihihihihihello Yes, if your ethernet is connected into your home network and your wifi connects into your same network. All of my devices are wireless, but I have an ethernet port on my router that would allow me to connect into the same network. Hope it works the same for you.

I just noticed tabs at the top of the screen in port for "Briefing" and "Intelligence Reports". I'll bet they allow you to better research the value of those items before you are loading into a battle. I didn't notice them earlier...
Those "Intelligence Reports" can be changed directly before the battle too. We played a lot Utah Beach now. I wanted to see if I find a video for the next operation, so I saw yours for the last one. Watching it it is clearly the same choice of ship as for the first mission. One of the best (I tend to say the best) ship for the first mission is clearly the Atlanta and at second place the Flint. Why? It is a choice of versatility. Good anti air, rapid firing guns, fast turret rotation, good maneuverability and, one of the most important things for these operations, ship based depth charges. Depth charges thrown from planes clear nearly no mines at all, even with the report buff. With the ship based depth charges, you clean out a bunch of mines at ones. In the first operation, we often had over 100 mines cleared and cleared out the mine fields completely. As the third operation seems like the first one, I would say the Atlanta is again the best choice. We went in most times with only Atlanta (except one Flint, as she has no Atlanta). The Flint can't fire as far as the Atlanta and has no radar, as the smoke isn't useful in these operations. You can't get the Atlanta at the moment, but perhaps you can get the flint. She costs 168.000 coal in the armory without coupon. ;) Nevertheless well played and that you lost all teammates. Well, in the first operation we learned, that 90% of all players doesn't seem to know what the objectives are and what to do. Such as firing with HE at the AA guns and the airfields and with AP on the coastal guns.
@loeffel4144 I would like to have Flint or Atlanta, but they haven't appeared in my port quite yet! All of my ships show up via Black Friday and Christmas crates except when I accrue enough dubs from ranked battles (and the steel, coal, & Research Bureau ships). I chose not to do the 2nd part of the D-Day event. I don't mind driving Mainz or GK, but I just didn't care for the idea of actually acting out the Nazi side of D-Day. It just didn't feel right. However, if it doesn't give others the heebie-jeebies, they should let us know how they did...
@@JustAnotherMathTeacher The second operation is far harder than the first one as you are only allowed to sail with DDs. DDs are not a problem for me if those wouldn't be gun boats. They are not my kind. We sailed them and to get that thing as good as the first one I'm sure you need the best documents. You will progress, as you will win, but.... Especially with randoms it is a bismo. When it comes to the operation, you need to see it different. The outcome of this operation doesn't change anything and the Germans won at some parts of the whole line at others they didn't even fought. To be true D-Day was a mess. You had everything including a slaughterhouse. You might not believe it, but most soldiers on the German side weren't Nazis at all. At that point they only fought for their home and those they love and for sheer survival. We are lucky that the Nazis didn't win for sure, this war was at this point not anymore the war of the Nazis. The Allies needed so long to win after D-Day of mistakes that they made, but also because of those German soldiers fighting for their home and those they love. That was one thing especially the Americans never understood. Those horror stories about killing families raping the woman and so on. They were rare, but a real fear and that drove these last fighting soldiers. See the operation not as fighting for the Nazis. See it more like some view into the past and a challenge. Believe me a challenge it is. You see, we are Germans, but we don't make this mission because we fight on the side of the Nazis. All of us are happy that the Nazis neither win the war, nor win anything else. But you should also keep it as a reminder. The war against such people should never end and to be true, we are still fighting such people all over the world. They might not call themselves Nazis, but they are the same. Such things should never ever happen again. Sorry for the long text.

good job I'm just getting started with the X plus 3. This is my 4th printer, for some reason I've struggled a little bit. Thanks to your video I've been able to answer some questions and resolve most of my problems. Prusa slicer is quite a bit different Cura. I think that's where my difficulty lay rather than with the printer. BTW if I do use glue stick I normally dilute it with alcohol work better and is neater.

First you need to win a battle, and that is almost inpossible in this game. Deleted wot yeard ago and never regret it, today deleted this game also. There is no more expensive game then "free to pay". It is a low level game, that it. Buy other game and enjoy, this is a trash.
I actually stopped playing for about 5 months and returned just about 4 or 5 months ago. The break helped me a LOT. I've returned with a new perspective and appreciation. I am enjoying the fun and focusing much less on the win.
Word of advise: you need to clean the carbon fiber rods that the printing head glide on with a IPA every couple of weeks.

I am glad you have realized that showing your network password is not a good idea. One don't have to be at your house to connect to your network if one knows your password. By the way showing your local network IP address is not advisable either.
I hope you know you supposed to clean the plate after each print. It is not hard and prevents problems with your next print. The glue is not necessary for PLA printing but rather for high temperature filament types. 3d printing is not as easy as printing on a paper printer, it does require at least a basic technical know-how. What I like to compare it to is an musical instrument, you can't just buy a guitar and start playing if you have never done it before. The bottom line is: 3d printers are not designed for grandmothers, at least not yet 🤷♂️

In these weekend tournaments some players put up insane amounts of crowns in like 1 hour blocks. Any idea how increase that ? Seems they get like 50 crowns a puzzle yet I get mostly no 3 word puzzles with only few bonus words so get only about 15-20 a puzzle max . Just wondering if many cheaters or is it actually possible? Thx

Saved me! I could not find the internet option. I also ran into an issue (still an issue) where my computer is LAN only and will only see the 5ghz network and the printer can only see the 2.4ghz network. Thus they can't talk to each other : (
Oh good! I'm glad to help. You can get a dongle to plug into a USB port for wireless network. I use one on my old old desktop, in fact. Pro tip: lose the glue, use spray away foam glass cleaner and a microfiber to clean your plate. I love my qidi, 23rd printer, it rocks

Ive been 3d printing for several years now and decided to grab one of these as I've been excited about the Klipper firmware. Pretty neat little printer. One recommendation for you is if your magnetic plate is spring steel (red copper looking) it is best not to use a metal scraper against it, it could damage the coat

I like them all the way up to Montana. I've done the Vermont branch too, but I don't enjoy the lonnng reload times. I haven't taken a real poke at the hybrid line, but lots of people like them.
The Colorado is my favorite "Fat bottomed Girl"......but I have never gotten a Kraken with her. I do have a 52% win rate in Randoms with her though!
That's the best battle I've had in her, but she can definitely put the hurt on!
